Love em! Last year i bought the last brand new 3 cylinder, 700cc, triple carby, direction injection, electric start, power trim and tilt, yamaha 2 stroke in Australia apparently. Ripper motor and love it to death would never swap for a 4 stroke.
Good stuff mate. Will do another video soon enough. Got my hands on a 2002 model 50hp with oil injection, elec start and trim and tilt and although nearly 20yrs old it is absolutely mint condition with less than 100hrs. Cheering!

Purchased it straight from my local Yamaha dealer. Its a genuine cowl cover. To be honest, there are better ones around - these genuine ones seem to fade quite quickly
Yes I purchased the boat/motor with a known fault that the trim and tilt was not fully operational. The price was reduced for this reason. I had a mobile marine mechanic in Cairns inspect and he had to overhaul most of it and re-gas. It certainly works very well now
Got the same w/elec. start on a tracker 1648, super reliable, 40 mph top speed altho I run it just on plane, right now needs impeller, plugs, and lower oil change, I absolutely love this rig only downfall no pull start not even an emergency pull slot on flywheel so I’ll be adding a pony o/board eng as I run off shore
I have a 2011 yamaha 30hp cv I bought new.Has cost me $40 in 11 yrs.impellor $20,gear oil $10 and 2plugs $10.Let's see a 4 stroke cost that.I maintain it myself and it's like brand new still.
