A new series where we begin to explore the darkened depths of the Imperial Hive World of - Necromunda. If you enjoyed and want to see more - please LIKE the video Not Subscribed?? Thats on you but ALGO frowns upon this
Brother I love u but know that you are absolutely nuking my ocd by never finishing a series and constantly opening new one. Ur the GRRM of warhammer 40k lore vids. What happened after vigilus? We will never know…
In fairness, the gap between the best and worst bowl movements is truly vast. I vaguely remember a time when I'd comfortably plop one out of a morning. Halcyon days of yore, before I discovered vindaloo.
@@MisterDantastic The pure ecstasy of a long delayed dookie following a few days of healthy, fibrous meals stands in stark contrast to such nuclear levels of annihilation. Vast indeed.
@@ufc990 it's the difference, I presume, between a) ones paramour slipping in a cheeky finger while she talks to the boss; and b) ones first night in prison.
We had until you came along and contemplated the creation of it causing the utopian Araneous prime to be both a utopia and distopia simultaneously in a rotten cat box like scenario. May your feet never rot in the ashes
Them: I like listening to the sound of rain or waves crashing on the shore as I fall asleep. Me: I like listening to the grim darkness of space horror stories.
@@PuddingXXLI honestly don't know why people have such a burning hatred for female custodians. female space Marines sure that's a problem from a myriad lore perspective but Female custodians is honestly not that big a deal plus they're hot so there's that
Hey sleep gang, y'all ever wonder why specifically falling asleep to 40k lore is our thing? Like i understand our boi has the voice of an angel i get that, but like there are plenty of calming voices. What about listening the horrors beyond human comprehension makes me go "mmmm yes. Eepy times here i come"? Are all of our brains just cooked?
Please continue this series! I’ve been interested in Necromunda for a long time but only started learning about it recently, I’d love to hear it through your voice
I paused this video and commented with the first 20 seconds and for good reason. I recently started buying GW along with a few friends after a 20 year gap. It was necromunda that did that. I can't afford 40k even if I had the will to learn it. This is a brilliant setting giving people a gateway into the hobby. My daughter is 6 and we built and painted an escher gang together. They are all the purple haircuts... I gave too much creative control to her but I regret nothing. Back to the studio
I think that’s entirely within character for the eschers right? …like… why wouldn’t they all rock the same hair color along with same colored armor? Makes it so much easier to identify friend from foe.
Necromunda is so rich and detailed. This video was an enjoyable watch! In a future Necromunda video, I'd be interested in learning more lore about the Palanite and Badland Enforcers. It'd be great to explore how Enforcer activities differ from those of the Arbites.
By far the best video of yours I’ve seen. The lower levels of hives, hidden bunkers underneath, underground radioactive oceans…. The big battles and what not are interesting but the deep dive into hives is unbeatable
To add to your point I created an in-house RPG campaign based on necromunda with the sole purpose of creating a short story out of the choices and consequences that came out of each battle. The story that came out of it was so accessible and easily captivating to my friends
I wasn't really interested in Necromunda for most of my time as a 40k fan, but the more I learn about the setting and how deep the lore actually goes, the more I think I have missed out on a lot of fun
Finally!! Some more Necromunda and hive world lore. I definitely want more of this stuff. It's one of the best things in wh40k, for the real day to day, nitty gritty, dirty living, down where humanity is at's it's worst and sunlight is but a myth.
I’m in both the Luetin day and sleep clubs. You’re content and fascinating procrastinating is fabulous. You ask for likes and comments- I always like but thought I’d leave a comment too. Muchas gracias Luetin, eres el numero 1!
Thank you. I don't play any GW games as they are too expensive but I am fascinated by 40k's story and lore. Your work entertains me to no end. I have not once fallen asleep. Please, I would be delighted to know more about Necromunda and your opinions on the setting. Thank you, again.
Me and my P&P group have been having multiple year long games of Dark Heresy on Necromunda, so its always nice to get a refresher on all of the lore since it is spread over so many decades of stories and nooks and crannies
Amusingly, I just purchased the Underhive Wars game and have started my playthrough! Plus, since 10th dropped, I have returned to Necromunda (a place I've not been to since 1998) and discovered that it's as amazing as ever. The Aranthian Succession, and now the coolness of Secundus and the Malstrain and I doubt I'll return to big 40K - the opportunity to create multiple unique gangs (like Kill Teams) is easier on the wallet than making big point armies. Great minds think alike Luetin... Also, like you, I say Delaque as Del-ack, and have done since I first heard it back when they were just bald blokes in trenchcoats.
An amazing game… that’s apparently too high quality for my Xbox or something cause it cuts out on occasion for me… atleast it did a while back when It first came out.
I always enjoyed seeing the future of Judge Dredd and how Warhammer 40k took the “Megacity” to a whole new level of a Hive City. Corpse Starch, anyone? Keeping waiting for the Skaven to start popping up.
@@thegametroll6264 True, in comparison with living in the underbelly of a Hive or Manufactory World or being a Guardsman about to be thrown in the meat grinder at Vraks, my problems do look somewhat trivial. 😄
@@Furzkampfbomber I would rather be one of the big un types. Their outlook on smashing and looting things for fun would make things a lot more dismissal in the darkness of the far future. Ogryn and orks to be precise. Astra militarum being my favorite imperium faction other than the astarties.
@@thegametroll6264 Hey, it's nice to meet a fellow Guardsman! My heart belongs to the Guard as well, I am really not that fond of Astartes. With a few exceptions, like my poor Lamenter bois. But yes, _if_ I had to live in that universe and _if_ I could chose what I would like to be, then I'd _definitely_ say Ork. They are the only ones in this miserable universe who are _not_ miserable and actually quite content and happy.
@Furzkampfbomber I like the ogryn too. Greenskins of all shapes and sizes have been a favorite of mine since the inception of my fandom. When I learned of the ogryn in the imperial guard I loved how much they reminded me of the ogres in fantasy and the ogors in age of sigmar. Another favorite of mine when I learned of it years later mind you. I JUST LOIKE TO SMASH FINGS WIFF ME MATES CORMISSAH! Darktide spoiled people like me when they added the ogryn as a playable career choice.
i love when you do these extra long lore videos. I have a massive playlist of lore vids called 40K Sleep that I listen to every night. they help so much when my anxiety is running wild at night and i cant sleep. You and Oculus honestly help me manage to keep going by letting me get a little comfort at night. Keep up the good work. Also my favorite vids are when you do the narrative ones like Vigilus! More grimdark bedtime stories please! again thank you so much for your help.
Thank you Leutin. I've had a grim time of things recently: BUT IT WASN'T GRIM ENOUGH. So thank you for this slice of bleak pie. It truly helps me to put my life back into perspective! 🙌😭🙌
What is often missed is the middle class. If only the upper third of a hive is somewhat pleasant, that's still billions of people living in decent conditions. There are white collars workers, gardens, pubs, this kind of things in the hive. Big vacation spots above the clouds with artificial waterfalls on platforms where they go as families and spend their credits, this kind of things.
Find yourself a job in every manner of punishing weather, that tears your muscles while the ever-present threat of injury lurks around every corner demanding your focus. Then, you’ll never be bored at work.
All of your content is excellent, but I do love your more planet/character specific content. The music and visuals are always so fitting to the videos and it makes me feel like I'm missing out. I mostly listen rather than watch so I have to wonder what visual treats I'm missing/have missed. I often find my self breaking away from what I'm doing to see the art you've picked and it rarely disappoints. Keep up the top tier content!
You are a huge reason I started reading War Hammer books. I couldnt even tell you why or what the first video of yours I happened to click on first but it hooked me
I played dark heresy 2 rpg table top with mates ages ago. knew absolutely nothing about 40k then, but it was really fun. Then we stopped and i forgot all about 40k. Years later the algorithm decided that it was time and i saw a video titled "THE EMPEROR OF MAN" That was 7 years ago. Thanks Luetin!
As a sleeper, i end up listening to the videos 10 times so i can hear the whole story. Top tip. Use an app that locks your phone after a set time. Then setnit to the length of the video.
I usually listen to your videos at least 3 times. Once I sleep, then I have no idea what it was about, then I listen to it in the car, then once again at least a tid bit later. 🎉🎉🎉
i am gonna like this, not cause i need you to engage in the gangs of Warhammer by any necessity but cause all hour-long Leutin videos make my day. +1 vote for an hour-long video on the shipyards of the imperium. also feel free to make more videos about the gangs and crime of 40k cause i trust whatever is interesting to you to be interesting to me.
Lord Helmawr's day must be frakkin awesome. My mind just went to some of the best political/war drama, suspense, thriller, and psychological media I've experienced and just dropped him in there.
