Dion turns 40 on the high seas!
We head into Port Clinton to anchor for the night to wake up to celebrate Dion's 40th birthday.
Laura is on a mission to make Dion a 'focaccia cake' (Dion doesn't like sweet cake).
Never made a focaccia before but got the recipe from Heidi from Pacific Star. After quite a few attempts, finally succeed!
We try to show you the reality of what its like to sail with 2 kids! and our boat is usually turned upside down with toys and craft and food everywhere..
We have a cracker sail with the wind and the wakes behind us as we head into Island Head Creek for the night.
We go to Pacific Star for dinner to celebrate Dion all together with his Focaccia Cake! Turned out well..
Then we leave before the sun to try and make it to the Percy Islands but don't quite make it from battling the tides but we duck into Hexham Island. A lovely little spot for a beach haircut.
While we are there Josh and Scuba Steve (Dion) jump in the water to sus out the country, Dion gets us a nice trout for dinner.
The next day we go to South Island of the Percy Group and stay a few days to relax.
