This week, Deepti and Natalie get real with Love is Blind Season 3’s Nancy Rodriguez. They reveal how she got through her relationship with Bartise, how she stays so positive, and answer some of your listener questions.
PRE INTERVIEW: Nancy is one of the few people who have gone to the show to truly participate. I was in awe when she shared her background and discussed how hard she hustles. As a Latin adult woman, I could relate to how she wears her heart on her sleeve. POST INTERVIEW: What an intelligent woman! This interview speaks volumes about her values. Love you girls! Can you please have Cole on to see how he's doing? He was so gaslit and bullied on his Reunion, it was disturbing and rather sickening to watch, and it really impacted him a long time after. PS: Loving the dark hair Nancy :)
Totally agree, it was traumatizing for me, I don't want ever witness something like this! I hope he is doing well and recovered from that experience somehow.
Okay let’s read between the lines - Barrista is a narcissist who played Nancy. He did not want to be said no to at the alter so he played her, even wrote her a note on the wedding day , “let’s do this thing!”to make sure she says yes. I mean she is a saint for not being jaded by this and remaining classy..wow!
Please get Cole on this show! my heart goes out to him honestly, I feel like he was dumped on so hard like they really piled on him…he really does seem sweet and genuine and Zaynab allowed her insecurities to rip him apart
That’s a great point Nancy just made. This whole show should be called “Trauma Bonding 101” instead of “Love is Blind.” Definition: A trauma bond is when a person forms a deep emotional attachment with someone that causes them harm.
FYI, trauma bonding does not mean bonding over shared trauma. Unfortunately this term is constantly misused and has even been misused a few times on this podcast. 🙁
@@rubiirae Yes terms get popularized without the true meaning. I remember when OCD meaning you like a clean house first started and I was struggling horribly with my OCD (paralyzing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, etc). I wish I was just anal about my house! 😂
You know what, I love Nancy she’s a great person. My problem is that it’s so obvious that barista was on the show for fun. Not for marriage. He wasn’t into Nancy at all.. he was just going along for the ride and I feel like Nancy needs to start saying it how it is now. It bothers me that she was so blind and still sticks up for him to be honest. 💕
I definitely agree with you, but what if that wasn't what she experienced? Maybe she felt he was genuine in trying to find love and commitment. Perception is everything and what may be true to us may not be true to others.
Nancy is still very delusional from her experience. It was all premeditated on Bartise’s end to humiliate her. The more she tried to explain how sweet he is or was just shows the amount of manipulation he went through just to break her heart on TV. Then she mentions Cole and that she thought he was the villain in the show. Like girl Cole wasn’t perfect, but he wasn’t as calculated as Bartise or Zanab in humiliating their partners.
I love Nancy so much! She is so intelligent and savvy with business and finances. What a queen! Im so happy for her and her relationship. It was very interesting to hear her side of why she stayed with Batiste because - yall i was conFUSED! Haha
Thank you for a great podcast episode! This is the first full episode that i have watched feomnyour channel and it was fantastic! It kept me fully engaged in the discussion and I really enjoyed hearing the perspective of Nancy now being out of the pods.

I would never put up with a man who didn’t find me absolutely beautiful. I also wouldn’t deal with someone who put me DOWN on national TV. I felt so bad for Nancy. I pray she finds self love and never deal with that BS again. Keep your heads high ladies!
I dreamt that Shane and Natalie got married before the altar episode. I am relieved that Natalie said no anyway because Shane was downright disrespectful, so I don't understand how people think she's a bitch? She has boundaries lmao. Also, Nancy is a gem. Beautiful story. Taking accountability of her side of things, reflecting on herself, dating herself for 6 months, remembering the good things with Bartise as opposed to demonizing him even though he was a weirdo, and how open she is about her political views. Beautiful soul. Good watch!
I love the content and guests but can you guys get a set up in person with different angles? I know it’s cheaper to do webcam interviews but it’s more aesthetically pleasing if there was a real set. 😭❤️ (Plz don’t hate me) just saying it from a high quality marketing perspective.

Ads allow you to watch this video for free. When I see creators do ad breaks, I think, "Awesome, get that bag." They're creating "art" for us to enjoy, and sponsorships allow them to keep doing it, and for us to keep watching for free.

I think either putting them in the beginning or end/ choosing fewer quality sponsers will make it better. That's what I see a lot of creators do and Ads are necessary to support them.

Not trying to be mean, but i totally agree with this. I feel like shes still covering for him, doesnt want to bad mouth him but he totally deserves it. Deepti and Natalie went throught the same thing, and they are not afraid to say it like it is. I hope she realizes theres also power in accepting the reality of the situation and putting her foot down.

He deserves his side to be heard. Zenab was a complete sociopath. can’t believe she still has support from anyone. Cole wasn’t perfect but he didn’t deserve getting attacked the way he did on the Reunion. that’s why I don’t really care for Nancy either . She should have directed that attitude to barrtise.

The obsession with cole is so weird to me. The fact that some people still calling him an victim despite someone who was actually there saying he was messy is giving desperate, delusional, or favoritism
Everyone has flaws, and Cole is no exception. At times, he may behave childishly, but Zenab still chooses to be with him. However, the difference between them is that Cole takes responsibility for his actions, apologizes, and works to make things right. Zenab, on the other hand, has many insecurities that she tends to project onto Cole. She never accepts responsibility for anything, not even the inaccurate video that was made public. Instead, she blames Cole and tries to ruin his reputation, even after he apologizes and the show ends. That's why we support Cole instead of Zenab. Even Nancy, who has every reason to ruin Bartis' reputation (the villain of Love is Blind and the perfect match), doesn't like Zenab does to Cole. The truth is that nobody is perfect, not even Zenab. It's vital to acknowledge your mistakes, own up to the part you played, no matter how small, learn from them, and move forward. 🌸

What is it she did to him to apologize for. He was incredibly rude and cruel. So she should have just remain silent gtfoh If Shake was White..Deepti wouldn't be who she is right now.
@niarose7649 I never said he didn't do anything wrong. One of the worst things he did on the show was try to flirt with Coline. We all supported her on that, but she chose to stay. Nobody can force you to do anything or lose weight unless you are insecure about it. She should reflect on why she did it and not blame everything on others. The only person you can control is yourself at the end of the day. Nothing will change until you stop acting like the victim of your own choices. I used to think like you in my teenage years, but eventually, you must grow up. Deepti and shake stories are completely different. Still, she doesn't try to ruin him like Zenab. 🤔 (I'm black, btw) ✌️
I don’t really understand how Cole is the bad person if you watch the show he was berated by this woman who then treated and told others that it was him. The thing that everyone just went on her side shows her gaslighting and narcissistic patterns
For another episode: after rewatching all of the love is blind seasons with my mom - there were some notes made throughout the season that made it seem like you have some expenses with the weddings. Could you touch on those? Do you have to pay for the dresses or any of the expenses and what expenses might those be?
They've discussed this in an earlier episode. They do have to fork out extra for additional expenses like decor, and if they wanted their own dress. Natalie ended up buying her own (the one she wore at the altar).
@@wiikendii oh yeah and i have watched it as well. They just don't post much especially Matt. I always supported their relationship even if people felt they will not make it. I hope they bring both of them together one day. Would love to watch that.
ohh noo he was shady all the way - he seemed as he tried to play the "good guy" way too hard. I never trusted him, I had to skip all his scenes, sadly, bcs I loved Mals style

I really don’t know how so many people think Nancy is the best, and how they are calling her the most “pure” person. I get people can have ideas they haven’t fully thought through and can change their minds, but what I think of with Nancy is her literally advocating for/saying she would participate in eugenics.
Natalie always trys to include herself in every episode we get it you don't want us to see you like the bad guy but we know you the reason shayne had a nervous break down you ain't slick something happened
Nancy’s significant other seems sweet but depending on how long she’s known him she should be careful because he can be a clout chaser especially because he met her and pursued her because he saw her in the show. I hope not but just saying..
I dont know why she came on their podcast, you can tell they judging her. It showed in their faces. I doubt we will ever see Stacy and Zanab on here. They have more self respect.
@@erionaw9883when Nancy says that Bartise was brutally honest they both wanted to laugh. It’s around the 24 minute mark. They hide their lips and their cheeks raise up holding in a smile because they’re like “girl, wake the fuck up.” But don’t want to be rude and pop her little delusional bubble.
@Treenabeaner exactly, I get the vibe they felt they were better than her bc they said no. Mind you Natalie went back out with Shane again and even said in a video she wished she said yes. I was getting a better than tho feeling watching this.
