I felt even worse for Amanda at the reunion, she is so nice and beautiful and ended up with that guy. He was angry at krisse-ly for asking about the baby in Barcelona at the reunion when he had a baby in their country. Her being very religious and having his kid it will be very hard for her to get rid of this pos.
Aye if I recall correctly, the couple said that Segio’s secret baby was born just before the wedding, and they only found out afterwards; not that Amanda fell pregnant.

I was hoping you ladies spoke on the Catja/ Christopher dynamic. Big missed opportunity to speak on the “good guy”. The reunion everyone was aware of how Sergio trapped Amanda, but they’re all class acts and didn’t acknowledge it 😂
Yea I got a bit toxic vibes from Christopher but its almost hidden under the "nice guy" persona. There is definitely some aggression there though. Especially comments like "you use your body through sex to show love" to Catja as if that is a bad thing and she is a villain
@@fialalala6903I think men that try super hard in the beginning are huge red flags. They want to give you 200% to convince you they are worthy of relationships but I’ve seen that extreme good emotions also hide extremely bad emotional regulation as well.
@@dierathyit was very cringey, and definitely love bombing. He seems like he’s a great friend but when it comes to dating you should really pace yourself.
About Amandas pregnancy. The season was filmed last spring, we see some snippets of some Easter celebrations close to the weddings, so the weddings was probably mid to late April, or very early May. Amanda said that her due date was their wedding date. So she was about 6 months pregnant while filming the reunion. :)
Sergio is clearly a Narcissist… He has all the red flags of an emotional abuser. I don’t think it’s an issue of self-esteem for Amanda. When people are raised as “good Christian girls,” they are taught to be nice, turn the other cheek, and see the good in everyone. I know because I used to be one. Girls raised this way are basically live bait for a Narcissist. She KNEW something was off in the pods after he blatantly lied to her and then gaslit her about saying he wasn’t dating other women, but she ignored her better judgement and instead gave him the benefit of the doubt. Now she’s already been trauma bonded to him and she’s trapped by the marriage and a baby on the way. I feel for her so much 🥺
And the saddest part for me in this story - she wouldn’t divorce him because of her belief systems and being raised as the “good Christian girl”. I was so sadden for Amanda in the reunion. She’s such a gorgeous person inside and out. Sergio doesn’t deserve her for sure!
No discussion about Oscar and Meira.. I loved them too and were cute and really unexpected marriage because the way they showed their love story as being doubtful.. but they got married was surprising ❤

Advice story #2: I've been happily married for almost 5 years. Literally yesterday, a friend confessed his feelings and attraction. 🤮 Dude, why? You think I'm going to leave my husband less than 3 weeks after having our baby? I could not have been less interested in that conversation. If you're entertaining the idea of other men, it's time to end your relationship and not waste anyone's time. Pursue the crush and have fun because you don't have what it takes to be in a long-term relationship with your current boyfriend. When you find your forever person, you won't be tempted by anyone else.

Two of the things that I feel like are obviously at play in this season is Amanda's Christian upbringing and the fact her dad is a pastor- taught that forgiveness, and possibly public forgiveness, is the ideal type of femininity and faith. Secondly, class plays a huge role in all LIB but is often unacknowledged. These folks are all driven and upwardly mobile swedes. Additionally, in Sweden as in all Scandi countries, there is a comfortable social safety net and cultural beliefs that are behind these individual "characters," for each country. That is part of what makes it so interesting to watch the various countries - the way people date is so so different everywhere. It is easier to be calm and cool when you have confidence in your society like Scandi folks seem to.
You guys didn’t touch on meira or catja relationships but anyways def can relate to the boyfriend with the douche bag friends thing. I literally despise my bfs friends they were so rude and nasty, one in particular but my bf has literally been friends with them since kindergarten and they’re like his only friends so he doesn’t want to drop them. I’m just so happy that I never have to see them anymore since we moved, now they just play their stupid games together and go to the gym!
Hello, for sergio i feel like we only get the image the show wants to show us. We do not see how they are together. And i personally watched it dubbed, because i did not want to read but still we go by what was dubbed or wrote, and it's a tv show. We dont know also how much it means for people in Sweden to receive a ring both ways, it seems to be cultural they all got one. I feel its harder to get a good feeling at people when we cant watch in their language especially with production showing what they want to show, the way they want to show it. 😊
Best season ever is crazy 😭My favourite was LIB Brazil season 3 and I totally got whiplash from watching the Swedish version right after Tbh I didn't think any of the couples were great besides Krisse-Ly & Rasmus (who I was skeptical of at the beginning), almost all of them were just really unsatisfying matches lol. It's painful to watch people making (what looks like) really bad decisions again and again
I'm honestly a bit upset about the editing, because based on interviews post LIB, Meira and Oscar had such a sweet love story! They have said that they bonded much more in the pods than what is shown, and in the material that is cut out, there's pretty much this whole side story about a gift Oscar got from Meira, with a love letter in it, that follows them along their whole journey and that is a part of Oscar's speech to Meira at their wedding. 🥹 I honestly think they seem really cute together now. Also started liking them as people more and more throughout the show.
Ugh sergio was SO CREEPY!!! I was (and still am) so frustrated that Amanda didn't see what we all see and even is having a baby with this walking red flag 😭. I remember now that sergio wanted to diss her bc of her scoliosis... like WHAT??? You? The most questionable man inside and out? BYE 😭
None of the cast came for sergio at the reunion but I could see it clearly on their faces that they were silently judging and choosing to avoid that mess out of respect for Amanda and to not come off as messy themselves on TV. Very swedish to not get into conflicts

You get thr character of Amanda wrong, in my opinion. She is deeply Christian and her behaviour comes from there. She doesn't have a low self esteem, she is forgiving and selfless, she gives Sergio the love that Christ modelled to us. Even though Sergio sins, she is able to forgive him. They also share their faith and he, even though he is a bad boy, aspires to learn to be like her.
So when it comes to attraction and love… my husband who I love to death and even though we’ve had problems but we still stay together because we love each other. But when we first met we were friends and I want attracted to him. He’s still not my type look wise. We’ve been together for 8 years and I still love him, even though he’s still not my ideal look. We have two kids and I love him so much. There’s times I look at him and I’m like damn he’s good looking and then there’s other times I’m like ugh wtf. But he’s my person and he’s the best dad and we made BEAUTIFUL children. People tell us all the time that our children are model looking because of how beautiful looking they are
No mention of Meira and Oscar, or Christofer? I thought Meira and Oscar were really boring at the beginning, but I've heard a lot of "behind the scenes" material/stuff they cut off, that made them make so much more sense as a couple. Alsooo there's quite a bit of drama/strange rumors with Catja and Christofer. Like Catja making suggestions of Christofer's more violent (?) side, and Oscar and Meira siding with her because she had spent one night with them etcetera. 😳
Catja and Christofer reminded me a bit of Marshall and Jackie from season 4. Criticising him for being too soft, asking him to stand up to her, and then when he gets pushed to the brink and does stand up for himself, gets rejected again and she can publicly insinuate he mistreated her.
You two are an amazing team. My only ask is that you reduce the use of the word "crazy" from your conversation. #IYKYK Otherwise, continued good luck with all your endeavours.
as two women who have encountered hatred on the internet for being on the show you two should know better! Amandas due date is their anniversary. How many people do you know that are pregnant for 12 months! We swedes rarely take offense to anything you say about us in general but don't #¤% with our sisters. Oskar said in a swedish interview that the whole show is portraing people wrong. His mother is from Iran so he wasn't all that novel on how Meira felt about being a minority as the show seemed to portray it. And Meira was very lovey dovey to him off cameras. She hated the cameras and couldn't relax with them around. Oskar has been on other reality shows before, survivor for example so he knew what was in store. Meira didn't. So maybe Sergio isn't all that bad of a man after all. Maybe he actually didn't know he waited a child! Its common for swedish women to not involve the father if she doesn't feel like it. Maybe we have too big of a cultural gap for some of these things to make sense but swedish women are highly self dependent and marriage is not even for everyone. My aunt and uncle have been together for 38 years now not married and me and my man have been together 18 years coming this spring and we don't plan on getting married either. We are in our 30s both of us and bought or first house 4 years ago. Payed the mortgage off by over 50 % the first year. We spend our money on each other and our future and not on a wedding.
Just watch with subtitles. If you watch the dubbing it takes away their entire personalities. You can’t translate everything to english from other languages
I think both the hosts should get over their exes from LIB. Why do they always keep bringing them up? Those two guys were useless, you hate them & we hate them. So, please move on. It’s been two years now. Try to discuss the show without brining up your stories which we have heard 1000 times now.
Although i felt this LIB had more real people, I can’t relate to how they seem to have 0 emotions, is this a nordic behavior? Omg it was so boring to watch, Catja could not express anything lol iam shocked
Deepti is so distracting, constantly playing with her hair, laughing at dark points. Trying so hard to not look at her. Hoping she doesn't do it in other videos, because I really like watching these podcasts rather than listening to
