Astros are just so stacked i mean yuli is the AL batting champ and then you have Brantley whos one of the most patient accurate hitters and then yordan whos pattient and powerful. Just nutty they have power 1 through 8 and then maldy is just an amazing catcher pretty rare to steal on him

What’s extra crazy is that for the #8 slot (CF) we have 3 different young guys (all 25-26 years old) swapping in and out that are all performing well. It would’ve been interesting to see how the playtime would’ve been split up this series if Meyers wasn’t hurt.

Read Tom Verducci's article on SI. They made a mechanical change for Garcia. Also, look at Luis Garcia's game against the Indians this year. He was hitting 96-97 in that game. So touching 98 with playoff adrenaline in the 1st inning isn't some big deal. Also, go look at Framber pitching against the Rays in the ALCS last year. He was hitting 95 plus in that game.
