Hey there folks! Today we get to put five 45 caliber suppressors up against each other. These suppressors all have their own strengths so to keep it fair we will be comparing only pistol calibers(10mm, 40S&W, 45 ACP). The suppressors for today are:

Great demo. I'd love to see similar on the 45 cans with 9mm. I think it would be really useful considering 9mm is the most popular pistol cal & many might buy 45 cans for the added versatility. This is the case for me with the R45. I don't own a 45 pistol but it's my multi use can for my pistols, pcc, & 45LC Henry, as well as rifle cals. Of course most of the other cans can't do all of those but I think most of these cans would see significant 9mm use by most.

Great review I have a mk -10 banshee in 10mm and I would love a can for that , what would you recommend and what thread size ?

Thanks man 👊🏻 I believe the thread last on the Mk10 are .578x28 As far as which can goes, just know that 10mm is not a quiet round. All the cans are gonna be a little loud. I’d lean toward the Omega 45K or YHM R45.

Great Review honestly they all sounded good Which one would you prefer for a Mp5 and Ar45 im stuck between the rugged 45 or the ghost 45m

Thanks man 😎🤙 I’d lean toward the Omega 45k… I see the Ghost as more of a pistol can. Don’t get me wrong, it will work on PCCs but it’s better suited for pistols. Out of the cans in the video I’d go with the Omega 45k or YHM R45 for the hosts you mentioned.

Great video my brotha..you had mentioned that your form one can was clipped vaguely remember in a video in the past you said it wasn't clipped so did you do that yourself also what was the process like do you use a drill press to do it ? And can you tell a difference since they bn clipped or that's js hype in your opinion

You got a good memory man. You’re right, I recently clipped the baffles on my all my JK Armament Form 1 cans. I used a hand drill and dremel. It’s a pretty simple process. I will say that it does help but it’s not a mind blowing difference. It is worth doing in my opinion. And thanks man 😎🤙

Really good comparison video. I have a sandman and a sierra 5 so part of me wants to get the Ghost 45 just for the asylum gift bag lol. But the yankee hill cans seem really great for the price

I can fully understand that dilemma 🤔 Don’t forget the Dead Air Mask… it could get out up to the next level and is an outstanding 22 can. That’d leave you a little room left to get one of the YHM cans. And those YHM cans are worth the cost(especially the R45 😉)

@CalebDowning the r45 and r9 being rated for 308 is a big plus. I got a buddy that uses it on his hog hunting build. It's funny cuz you see this super expensive iRay thermal and then the cheap yankee hill can on it lol

I watch a lot of your videos, I am late to this one. From the “Target” point of view, maybe just my Ears and Home Theater Speakers, I thought the JKarmament 155 was the quietest. Thats what my FFL ordered for me today. Thanks for spending your hard earned Dollars to bring us good content.

Glad your enjoying the content man 😎🤙 I haven’t heard these in person from the “targets” point of view, only as the shooter or through recordings. As the shooter the JKArmament can was louder. If you ordered the 45 cal can from them then it’ll probably have a better clip design than my Form 1 version.

Got a G29 gen 3 with extended kkm+9/16x24 slide cracked muzzle end between the barrel and guide rod holes. (super thin take a look field stripped) unlocking and tilting with lots of leverage may have been too much for the thin area of slide.

seems like to me the yhm m2 was the quietest next to the r 45 at least dry but all of them sounded nice when they were wet

Wet cans are quiet cans. It’s crazy how adding some “lube” can make such a big difference.

I'm looking at a YHM R45 for an all-around suppressor but mostly to suppress a 45-70. I have several suppressors in .22 and 30 cal but nothing for 45. Would the YHM R45 be your pick? Or is there another 45 cal can that you would recommend for 45-70? Thanks!

The only two cans that I’d record for 45-70 are the R45 and Dead Air Primal. The Primal will sound better but it’s more expensive and larger. The R45 is a very solid choice to save a little cash and still get a great performance can. I’ve got not reserved on recommending the R45 as a 45-70 can.

Any particular reason you only ran 6 baffles on the JK, instead of 8? I mean, it comes with 8 (mine did). I also have a Form 1 JK bored out to .45. Absolutely love running it on my HK USP .45 Tactical Great video!!

I believe I have reviews of all these individual cans. I give out all those specs in the reviews except the decibel levels. If I wanted to test the actual decibel level then I would have to get equipment in the 10k range and that’s not something I can swing right now. It would be nice to some day though 😏

I’ve been looking at the Omega 45K for my 10mm Cmmg Banshee. But all of em sounded loud with 10mm

10 mm is loud. I don’t care what can you have, it’s gonna be loud. Unless you use some dummied down cartridges then it’s just gonna be spicy. I know you can do it with Glock, not sure about your Banshee, but I can run 40SW through my 10mm barrel and those sounds super nice.

I have a dirty 30 and the 45 can. Both suck on any caliber I’ve tried em on. 2 of my buddies have same cans and they suck too. We tried the dirty 30 on a 300 BO with and without can. 7 decibels difference. They are just weighted muzzle devices as far as we are concerned.

Can these cans suppress calibers like 460 rowland, 450smc, 45 super? Those higher presure 45 pistol calibers? Not quite as powerful as 45-70 but more powerful then 45acp.

Ya know… I’m not sure on that. I think that’s best answered by the manufacturers. If I was to give it an educated guess I would say they should all be fine. But l have very little education on the 460 Rowland 🤔

Get on of those Police-trade-ins from AIMSurplus… super cheap right now. Get one of their threaded conversion barrels and mags while your at it and you’ll be set 👌

It works well, but I didn’t use any PCC’s in this video. That would be a good addition to the line up. Are you wanting 45ACP or 9mm PCC? Can’t make any promises, but I’ll do my best.
