Matti, I just want to say thank you. You really made such an incredible impact on my life. Almost 4 years ago I was suicidal high school freshman dealing with the divorce of my parents, family loss, and other unfortunate situations. My mom actually was the one who suggested to me that I find a hobby and I chose photography & filmmaking. So I turned round RU-vid and found your videos. Your videos provided such incredible value to me and really taught me so much about filmmaking and storytelling all in such an entertaining and inspiring way. But the most incredible thing that you did was provide a sense of light and hope in my life. I remember just binge watching all your videos and clicking your videos as soon as you posted. Each video provided a small sense of hope that I could make it out of my situation. You created an enormous passion for learning in me while you showed your constant pursuit for knowledge even at such a high level. And the way you could tell how genuine and caring you were for people also showed me how many incredible people there still are out there. I know it’s a long story compressed into something so much smaller but I just want to say thank you. Thank you Matti and Tyler and the rest of the team for everything. I know a million subs can look like just a number, but each of those digits is a life. A life you changed for the better. I pray all the best for you and your family. Thank you once again for everything.

Definitely my favorite video of yours, there are times in your life that are such big changes it feels like you are jumping off a building, this is one of your jumps. Ours was selling everything and traveling USA and canada in an rv and sharing it on youtube. Every once in while you got to take a jump. Good Luck Matti.

Sending hugs, man. Enjoy your time with yourself, family, and loved ones. Stepping back to recalibrate and take care of yourself is crucial, especially when navigating life's mysterious paths. Something similar happened to me on 2022 when I paused my RU-vid life and moved from Mexico to Canada, it has been two years and I've been thinking about the 2024 comeback, with a different perspective and refreshed me. It's so interesting to be figuring out what should we do, what should we focus on as we grow. Another hug, Matti! -Aldo

I almost quit RU-vid because I was burnout on creating travel content. My friend that has over 400K and quit her travel based YT channel because travel isn’t sustainable. If you are trying to have a family or loved ones you don’t want to be on the road every week. And plus we are getting older, I just want to chill, plant vegetables, build things, and be around my people. Wishing you the best man!

Thank you for all you have done for this community and myself specifically. Since discovering your OG channel, Travel Feels in 2017, I have looked to your content as the pinnacle of my filmmaking education and inspiration. Its been a crazy journey to grow my life and career while watching yours flourish on RU-vid. I know I speak for many others when I say this, but I literally would not be where I am today without you Matti. You single-handedly changed my life for the better, and I could not be more grateful for you and your willingness to share your knowledge and positivity with the world. When I discovered your channel in 2017 I was a lost soul in Business and Engineering school in an accounting internship. I would binge your tutorials during my lunch breaks and practice my filmmaking skills after work. Now I sit here as a full-time producer for a creative agency that specializes in Travel and Tourism, still living for those Travel Feels. Good for you Matti. I've seen the writing on the wall for awhile. You've been a massive inspiration over the years and I've learned a lot and gained a ton of value from your videos over the years. Each and every day, I look at my youtube channel and I'm bummed that I'm not posting more, growing more, etc, but then I also realize that I'm living the life I dream, and I'm spending time with my family and kids and there's nothing more important than that. so much of what i learned about videos and tech was from this channel so first off i wanna thank you for all the knowledge you’ve shared. secondly, i totally get the whole time thing. i may not have 1m subs but i do additional content on patreon as well and the more we think about content and how to grow/earn more, becomes very tiring after several years. you take some time off from time to time to rest but it’s just like what you said, you have less and less time. i’ve also come to realize this and it means some sacrifice and prioritizing different avenues of life. thanks again for all the videos you’ve put out and best of luck to you and your beautiful family!
