Selections from the 45 GRAVE shows at CRUEL WORLD FEST in Pasadena, CA - May 14th & 15th, 2022. Video by Michael Pilmer. Thanks to Carlos, Dinah Cancer and the band!!
@@MichaelPilmer I can't wait for Lenard's birthday party at The Whiskey A Go Go. Flight, Hotel and show ticket are all on lock. I will spend my days there going to Columbo, Laurel and Hardy and Sanford and Son filming locations.
Old school 80s Goth Punk! Love it! 45 Grave's drummer Tom is a good friend of mine. During the pandemic he sent me an old drum track he had in 5/4 time and I wrote some spacey psychedelic stuff to it. Tom's the man. He can play in any genre. When i was a youngster, in Pasadena, Los Angeles...This was among my favorite bands....and i wish i could have bilocated for this show! She looks great! Songs were fairly true to form! I wanna hang out with her and Alice Bag..drink some beyahs and maw some Okiedogs!!!
45 Grave still sound great! Only saw them once back in the early 80's. They either opened for the Dickies or Red Hot Chili Peppers. Thanks for posting Michael.
So super technically this is the third incarnation of the band I think, but Dinah is the through line. She has never left the band and is pretty cool in person from my experience (not that thats super relevant but better than the opposite). I believe Don has been in and out of the band.
Theres no substitute for @PaulbCutler ...paul b. Cutler is the 45 Grave sound...its all a bit foolish to strap a guitar on someone and say," ok. Now play what Paul played." Even Rikk and Frank couldnt replicate the sound... that says quite ALOT....
@@MichaelPilmer I thought you lived out there. It was a really good show and The Dickies played the following night in Venice. I don't live out there either, I'm in nyc...
Por que es un festival de todo el día. Se termina a las 11 pm creo. Por que la ciudad en la que hacen este fest tiene toque de queda de eventos o algo así.
