42:45 getting parts in Jamaica is 2-3x more expensive than it is in America. If the part is $1000, you have to spend like $1600-2200 or so. Import fees alone are like 60% if I remember correctly.

Wow, started watching to hear 45 talk about his Jamaican racing exploits and being a little bit of a hater but leaving being a fan. Love his economic outlook. I am Jamaican and will definitely be at Vernam to cheer him on in October.

Let my start by saying 45 is one of the greatest most humble mainstream street racers for sure, give him major props for going to an entire different country, racing much less breaking a record. Xavia was the previous record holder from 2017, this car has not been out since then, that pass was also with shifter issues. And that is with his build, his TUNE, and his business. I think people were not crazy about this record because Xavia honestly could break it back and perhaps go further than 45 ever will all by himself, he also has the fastest n/a civic in Jamaica without the full potential. I fully believe 45 and Xavia could go competition and start going faster and faster. Big up to 45 for always keeping it real and straight forward man. Can’t wait for what’s to come with competition in Jamaica and whatever other Caribbean country to cut boy throat🔥🔥

You can’t compare what people do there and how much they earn to 45. They make a lot less income. For them to compete at that level is way harder.

This was great thanks for posting. The roads seem very narrow from a USA🇺🇸 perspective. Love London I was there in 2003, I was staying in Wembley and they just started working on the stadium there. I love the red Buses and would only sit at the top when my cousins and I took one and they would remain at the bottom ( I'm a tourist 🇯🇲🇺🇸) the Bus to Brent cross was the 182 and 187.

This is probably the same reason why some are prevented from doing it in Janaica. Its a financial sense thing. Shout out to you for dropping Guyana, most people dont even know where that is lol.
