In this demo, I tell you all about the Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze and show you a couple of techniques of how to use it. I show a resist technique with ink and 1 with a watered ink background, both really cool and show the resist glaze to perfection. Made for stampers this little pot of magic has endless possibilities.
I use Ranger Ink in Fire brick and brushed corduroy, justrite stamps, white base card from Creative Crafting World and Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze.

Thanks for the video. I never thought to use it as a resist. Tim Holtz always just used it to "seal" his distress ink stamped on card stock. I decorate my envelopes and, by the way use only distress Inks and no other inks, and put the micro glaze over the inks used to decorate the envelope to prevent water from smudging the inks and becoming unreadable for the US post office. Thanks again for the resist suggestion!

Do you know if you can seal paper with this before applying resin to prevent discoloring

What is in the microglaze? I want to avoid harsh chemicals.

Can you stamp with a permanent ink like Staz-on over the top after you've applied the glaze ?

Good question, honest answer.. I don't know, I probably wouldn't anyway as the glaze is to protect your original stamping and stop it fading or marking etc.. but try it.. If I get chance over the weekend, I'll give it a go and get back to you.. Thanks for getting back to me. I tried it myself and the answer is yes . . . and no. It does stamp over the glaze, but it's not a very clear impression. I then stamped on a non glazed image and it certainly was a lot clearer. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.

No question is a stupid question :) I work on a green self healing cutting matt in this video, in later videos that I make Anna Griffin projects in, my matt changes to a ivory self healing cutting matt.. hope this helps.
