They are supposed to do several color variations as stated in some of their promo information. Also I've heard through the grapevine they plan on releasing a similar size Bay verse Optimus Prime
@@RR_1138 who cares if it's licensed or not it's still Optimus Prime. Also to answer your other question you posted earlier yes showzstore is legitimate
This is a great sign that Magic Square has made a good, optimised Optimus Prime figure. I hope I will get MS-02 EX someday. And someday, more 3rd Party figures of this character will come and be even better. Such quality should be uphold.
Thank you for the review. Definitely need to see it before purchasing it. This nearly the same height as threezero. Definitely goes well together with my threezero.
How big of a rotating display base in inches do you have to rotate this guy? Going to set him up in my game room, but I want him to be constantly rotating, just not sure how of a base in diameter. Thank you very much for the in-depth look at it. I feel much better about it now. It's probably the closest to G1 we're ever going to, and it's an absolute beast at this size class.
For anyone wondering, this Oversize Figure appears to be based on the Magic Square: Light of Peace Knockoff Figure of a Masterpiece-Scale Optimus Prime.
Ah, it’s the MagicSquare mold. I always find its backpack, while very flat, unsightly because of the way it sticks out wider than his ribcage area when looking at him from the front. I think it’s a little overrated, to be honest.
Definitely overrated at the MP scale, as I can see a superior MP OP some day in the future. But at this scale? There's nothing like it so I can easily look over it's flaws for this scale. The price definitely helps convince. Plus a correctly colored matrix? Yes please.
@@adrianl7701 Its only competition is Transform Element TE-01. The poseability isn't quite as good, but barely. Everything else is at least as good or better, depending on your preferences.
@@adrianl7701 I don't have it but don't need to, to know that there are issues with it. - The unhidden shoulder ratchet that has already sheared for some people make posing that arm almost impossible. - The thumb is on an awkward hinge where you can't even give him a natural "thumbs up". - The backpack breaking the silhouette. And I don't need to know of any other existing OP because in my original comment I said "in the future". This is surely not the definitive OP people wish it was. At the time? Sure, but there's always going to be better.
Did they make any improvements from the original? I remember that the ball jointed ankles tend to be slightly weak on the original and there were issues with the ratchets on the shoulders. At the size and weight are the ratchets at the shoulder, hips and knees, ok? Good? or excellent?
Seriously?! It towers over MPP-10! I mean, I guess it's cool because it's big, and cheaper than a Lewin Resource Prime. I just can't imagine many people buying this. And I am admitedly a Prime figure collector.
