Hi Steven have you had any issues with a 2-3 bind up while using a second gear servo and a transgo kit. I have a 48re in a ram 2500 that has this issue. Ive heard serveral opinions on how to remedy the bindup including using a washer from superior K056. Another remedy ive heard is removing the separator plate from the transgo kit and going back with the factory plate that doesnt have the holes enlarged. If you have any information or advice it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Alright he would be my suggestion to start off with. To my understanding a bind up is when both gears are still engaged in the we should feel like you hit the brakes really hard for a second. The first thing I would try would be loosening up my second gear band a quarter turn and a Time. But do not back on any farther one full turn. Doing this should make 3rd gear engagement slower. So it should give you a little time lapse in between the second and third shift. This is about the simplest adjustment you can do to see if it eliminates the problem. About everything else requires you to either drop without buddy hours or pool the second gear servo out. Do you know if you used the transgo servo spring with the super hold servo? If you use the factory spring it collapses easier which means you have a quicker engagement of the servo and band. The other two things to just would either be your band through lever or the clutch pack clearance, the bigger the clearance the more time you have between the shift. Replacing the plate in the throttle body could help a few fractions of a second, be your home more pressure and smaller home smaller pressure. I would definitely try the baby Justin first and also check your TV cable or transmission valve cable connected to the throttle body, if the cable is not have any slack give it just a hair. Listening the cable will lower the pressure in the male body which in turn will give you looser shifts which might help with the band adjustment terminate your problem.

I had only installed the factory spring when I put it together. I ended up pulling the servo back out and using the factory spring and the white spring in conjunction and it took all of the bind from the 2-3 upshift. Also seems the 1-2 up shift is just a tad softer. Thank you very much for your advice I really do appreciate it! @stephengoad3091
