just remember to test it your sleeve and your piston/server and make sure that it doesn't doesn't all the sleeve out with the piston.
I remember use the Black rubber washer do not install the pistol white washer until you are completely happy with all the fitments.
If the sleeve comes out with the piston you will have to either get bigger with the washers or do like I did with the metal tape to shin it out although you're doing this on your own free will if you don't feel comfortable don't do it.
I hope this help someone out there.

What causes 2nd gear launch on these? I freshly built my transmission and installed a transgo shift kit and still has the same 2nd gear launch it has before the built.

What causes a no shift when hot from 1-2 and 1-3 ??? I pulled the pan and found nothing in bottom of pan...the 8 pin connector had fluid in it so i thought that was it changed that with new one!!! Still same thing!!! Transmission shop says loss of hydraulic/ governor pressure internally

Also I’m guessing this kit your using in the video is for the 2nd gear slip/jerk these things have?

So exactly what are you talking about second gear lonch. You mean if you put it in drive it starts in second gear? Or if it's shifting through the gears it will hit second and then the RPM drama and then it will slam in the gear. The main thing this super hold servo will help is the cross leak situation in second gear servo piston, which will increase band holding pressure in second gear. It will also change your timing slightly on the second to third gear shift. Just want to let you know I'm not a pro transmission guy, just a DIY guy. Just want to know did you air test your transmission before reinstalling it? If not look up air testing a 46re 47re or 48re transmission is something you can do while it's installed in the truck just have to drop off the valve body. Also Irecommend calling Transgo and asking them their opinion they're very helpful and even want to help you on things that isn't directly involved with the part you installed. The number should be on the front of the instruction paperwork pamphlet in one of the corners. Just let me know if I can be any other help.

@stephengoad3091 I know it's been a while since you did the vid. Did you drill any of the 2-3 holes in separator plate like transgo shows? Let me know if you can, thanks.

here's the specs on adjusting your bands on a 46re transmission. Just remember if you were working on any other RE-transmission there are different specs for each transmission. 46RE 2nd gear band front band - Tighten to 72-lb, back off 2- 7/8 turns 46RE reverse band or rear band - tighten band adj. screw to 72 inch pounds, back off 2 turns Most rebuilders don't even use the specs they go by a certain distance from the end of the throw lever to the end of the servo usually shooting for a little more than a quarter inch and less than a half-inch. If you have brand new bands installed you want to have the gap even tighter or about a eighth to quarter-turn less. New bands will stretch. Also it's a good idea to tighten and loosen the band a few times before your final torque The lock nuts on the outside and inside of the case our 25 foot-pounds. After all your adjustments is a good idea to aircheck your servos to make sure that you aren't leaking and to check the through on your band lever. Also if you have the valve body out it's a good idea to aircheck your whole transmission to check for fluid/air leeks. Well I hope this helped and I hope it goes smoothly for you.
