Sorry to hear that buddy! If you've watched some of my vids you'll know I set the channel up because I was struggling with mental health. And the channel was my way of forcing me out fishing to help get a better balance! Let me know when you're up for it and we will get out for a couple of hours! Now i realise why u werent fishing at Llandudno, i messaged you as i just wanted to meet you in person and thank you for helping me get through last year with your channel. I hated 2022, From 2nd jan 2022 and alway through life kicked me to the ground. Lost my business, job and income over night by someone i know for 18 years, took all the money out the business. Was forced to move end of Jan, my farther died in march,, was involved in a bad RTA may and my best mate on 4 legs was forced rehome him in July. I was a broken man. Fishing helped and also watching your channel, the awful angler and a couple of others Hope 1 day still to be able to catch up with you and and say thank you.

Back on the east coast this weekend, hoping the efforts aren't in vein. Like I say, I'm hoping to spend much more time in Wales this summer. So slow sessions like this should help lay the foundations for that 🤞🏼

Yeah, tough conditions that weekend. I'm heading out this weekend, and conditions don't look too much better. Glad to hear there are still mackerel around. I've bought a squid jig that I want to have a go with next time I'm on the island!

@@theawfulanglerDoesn't look too bad here, big tides and need restock my lug. I've never tried squidding, it baffles me why you don't get them on other gear, I've had plenty octopus. Good luck 🤞
