I'll try to up load some more recent vidI'll try to get some more recent video uploaded. This was taken while the tank was still filling with water. As you can tell by the heaters on the back glass. I didn't even have the sump hooked up yet. I just had the powerheads moving the water around.

Thanks. I'm adding a new video of it now. I'm just getting it set back up. I've had it down for several years.

@jasonnazworth yes go with the starphire for sure. much more clear than normal glass. I love it. Just like you said no green haze at all. Thanks

Thanks for the nice words. banboosharkbark, If you are talking about glass bracing it depends on how thick the glass is. Starfire/ sapphire glass is just a low iron glass that lets you see more of the natural colors through the glass. Normal glass has a green tint to it and starfire/sapphire is completely clear. the colors are much better. 40x40x17 would be a great size tank. The main problem I have found with mine is that it is very hard to reach the back corner and I'm 6'3' (long arms)

The tank was only up for a few months when this video was taken. I have since moved and had to take it down. I am now setting it back up.

BEAUTIFUL! Is starphire worth the extra cost? .... I notice it doesn't have the greenish haze to it like traditional aquariums.

@RealFan The glass on this tank is 5/8" and it was very noticeable before I painted the back glass.

Hi how is your tank doing? Did you buy it from glasscages? I'm thinking about buying the exact same tank through glasscages, but I'm reluctant to do it because of the bad reviews several years ago. Good reviews over the last 1-2 years though.
