Why are we even seeing so many shots of random fans anyway? This is easily the worst part about these videos. Show the coaches. Players. Sideline. Even the opponent. But not random kids and dudes

I’m an editor and I really think they should model these videos like nfl films. In addition to what you mentioned I personally think they use way way too much of the announcer audio. We don’t need someone telling us what we are literally seeing and saw previously haha. This is why nfl films is so good. They know when to let the video highlight and the powerful music speak for itself. A lot more powerful. I would also say while I think there were too many random fan shots, I’m not apposed to seeing them but they need to fit the narrative/theme. It needs to be clever and not just random. Again another thing nfl films is so good at.

@@Tackleqb if I’m correct nfl fans does shots of the entire collective stadium where you see 100 people at once. It’s really cool because it captures the energy of the stadium without being cringe (like this video) The show quarterback on Netflix did the same. It’s really cool. It’s ridiculous how joe shmoe has more screentime than our QB in this video There’s a really good video for our 49ers v packers (divisional 2021) on this channel that had shots like this. It was a brilliant video. Ever since then I think it’s been downhill with junk shots of a rando screaming

Completely agree, it makes these videos not as enjoyable. But the worst part is the many shots of fans screaming in slow motion Why are we seeing so much of that? Show the coaches. Show the players. Show the sideline. Even show the opponents. We’d rather see that than some random dudes
