6:36, you are right. I applied under the NSW 491Direct pathway stream. I had a skilled assessment from VETASSES for which the one year experience I had from Aug 2021-2022 was absorbed and couldn't be counted. I was advised by the NSW government that I had to wait until Aug 2023 to be eligible to apply. I luckily got my 189 visa invitation in the mean time 😇

Hi, I need some suggestions. Please help me. I have been living and working in regional NSW for the last 7 years. I have done my assessment through TRA. I have my certificate 3 in commercial cookery in January 2022. Am I still able to apply direct regional pathways? Am I meeting the last 1 year of work experience, or do I have to wait until January 2023? Please help me.

In my skill assessment only have 2.3 yrs experience. but i have 5 yrs experience and stil skill assessment is not expired.may i need to do new skill assessment to claim 5+ yrs experince.

I was bitten by the clause of requiring to be working with the same employer. I recently transferred jobs when this came out, so I got cut out of 491. it was shitty tbh

Greetings, i received NSW 491 visa pre-invite recently. I am confused about the regional areas. I found this text on NSW website, "'regional NSW' refers to all of the state except the metropolitan areas of Greater Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong". Does this mean i cannot stay and work in these areas ?

Hi! I got an Invitation (offshore), NSW Regional ( Northern Inland) and am in the progress of a visa application, do I need to live and work in the same regional in NSW for 3 years or may I possibly move to any regional in demand of my occupation at any time before applying 191? if I move to another regional what will be the impact on 191 visas after 3 years? any advice

Hello I need assistance regarding 491 Question: Let say your total Package is 72900 inclusion of super And the ASMR for your current position ranges 60-80k However the TSMIT is 70k and your salary only is 65595 which is below threshold is there a possibility that you will be qualified since your salary meets the ASMR Appreciate your answers
