Thank you for being more objective, David. Would love to see a professional and mature discussion between you and Cohn - a discussion of the two ends of the spectrum.
YOU ARE RIGHT ABOUT TANNER. HE NEEDS FOOTWORK SPEED AND PRECISION AND PLACEMENT IN HIS BACK PEDDLING. HE WORKS OUT LIKE HE IS AT COLLEGE PRACTICE. HE NEEDS ASAP AND PERFECT MOVES IN PRACTICE. BUT HE MOVES ON THE GAME SCENE, HE IS A DIAMOND IN THE RUFF. SOUND FAMILIAR?? BUT WE WILL SEEIN WEEKS. LOVE EVERYTHING THE GROUP PICKED, … GERANDO IS THE DDAWGH AND SCHREDER,…UHH KUDOS THE LITTLE EDDIE. WHAT A GREAT OWNER FAMILY. THANK YOU LITTLE EDDIE. HEYHEYHEYHEYHEY!!
Puni? Out there! WOW! Look at him! All big & STRONG!!! 😂😃 Looking like a huge Water Buffalo! I have a huge man crush on him! lol good feet movement!!! ❤️❤️❤️
😂 Thank you, great insights. Very positive. But no UFAs signed last yr, is still with the team. Hopefully, this yr signed UFA makes at least practice squad. Last yr draft, had only 2 starters. Moody who isn't Robbie yet. Brown came in for Huf. Injury, looked good. Hopefully, rest of last yr draft steps up. Not sure about this yr draft. If BA or Deebo or Jennings isn't traded or released or holds out, wonder how Pearsall or Cowing gets on the field, except on 3rd down. Base formation is Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, Cmc n Juice. Don't think Kyle uses a lot of 4-5 WRs sets. Rookie RBs might get opportunities. Look at Mason, doesn't get msny chances. Krueg think Guerrero is a Juice replacement, but Niners haven't kept Juice replacement on 53. Snead implied that there there isn't real competition. Assume, Coaches do have some preference or prejudices or reason for keeping specific players ( draft status, salary cap, etc). Last yr, UFA CB Jamieson, showed he could cover slot n return kicks. But was cut. Numbers game? Kept vet CB Oliver, but he couldn't cover slot, release after season. Niners are in SB window. Wonder if this is why prefer getting FA to fill D-line needs? Do they want proven ability, rather than drafted potential, but unproven ability at pro level. But how to build chemistry with players that may be gone next yr? Hope, Niners found some help in draft n UFAs n FAs. Niners need to get younger, better, n cheaper. Many contracts are up in 2025. New DC too. New assistant HC might help, was a DC with Rams, but was bad HC with Chargers, at least it seems so? Chad Senior, listed many previously drafted players who might be on bubble. DE Jackson, CB Thomas, RB Mitchell, WR Gray, even TE Latu. Guerrero switch from WR to RB. Latu switch from DL to TE. Some player haven't found their best position in college. Might need development. Interestingly, Niners drafted a WR out of Baylor with WR Taylor. This guy switch to WR from RB, because he thought WR would be healthier in long term than RB. But hurt as WR, released. Injuries are part of game. Some players are lucky, some are not. NFL is not for long league. Avg NFL career is 4+ yrs. Shine when given opportunity or go home. Really, tough life. College talent or potential may not translate to pros. Let the real camp battles begin.
Really? This man misuses data to interpret football facts. Beyond states he has no respectable knowledge base to inform the fan base. In other words, he's trash with and an arrogant arse at that. His inability to be critical of anything concerning the front office is revealing as well.
When you don't have speed at a CB position, you'd better have the system to compensate. Either your pass rushing game had better be great or your safeties that float to that side are setup to compensate for this lack of speed. Just being honest rather than being a worshipper; that's all! Maybe the 49ers should take serious note about how FSU used him, because they used him super well!
If Mustapha really clocked in at 23 MPH with his GPS chip in a game ladt sesson then HE IS "The fastest guy". No NFL ball carrier ran faster than DK Metcalf-22.23 MPH for the 2023 NFL season ( Next Gen Stats). Mustapha reportedly ran his 40 while still recovering from injury (not 100%)
