CynicallyObnoxious Ingram was contained, Lamar was a beast with the read option. We countered with Mostert. The difference was the 4th & 1 play pass which should have been a run to extend our play and possible points.

@D. Driver I'm a 30 year niner fan as well and you obviously know nothing about defense. They wouldn't have put 48 on that defense. The rain didn't make that much of a difference. It's called Championship defense for a reason.

That's a very good point .That was some power - house football .I am surprised the 49ers was this tough up in Baltimore .They have improved big time .Now I see why they were unbeaten on the road .Baltimore went up to Seattle and blew them out - these two were matched up much better .In that cold rain looked like the 49ers handled it - just lost game .Very good showdown !

@@lilsnappy913 the team has been accumulating talent and last year they could've been an 8-8 team and then this wouldn't of have been such a surprise with the new guys. injuries were our worst enemy last year and this year we've had injuries to our starting tackles, TE, fullback, and corner but unlike last year the talent we have in the depth chart has lived up to what they were believed to be coming out of the draft.

The 2019 Niners had lots of great games, and because of the Saints game in week 14 this is forgotten, but it should be remembered. If you like trench warfare and run game, smashmouth this is the best game in years. Sure Derrick Henry Titans games are up there but its usually one sided, you don't get TWO teams running for 200+ yards like what happened on this day.
