@@AK_Ray Purdy has been a starter for a year and 2 games. Darnold has been a starter now for three different organizations including the Vikings. He is just another Geno Smith. We know what he is. You will win some games but when he crashes he will burn will quick

@@derickcolshan2734 Uh? Did we watch the same video. I heard them Praising Flores, KOC, Oline, Sam Darnold. And only praised Fred Warner for the 49ers.

It was still a fumble. Patrick Mahomes and other QBs get negatively graded on throws called back due to penalties. Lucky circumstances shouldn't change the grade that much.

That's what I've bet on. It seems everyone has forgotten 2022, and have also assumed that Darnold will be significantly worse than Cousins, whereas so far he has arguably been better, and should improve even more as he becomes more familiar with the playbook and the Vikes WRs. The Packers seem similarly overrated on the back of 8 late season games, and everyone seems to have forgotten how badly the Lions lost their end of season games to the Packers and Bears.

I agree, but in fairness to PFF, Bradbury was its lowest-graded center in Week 1. By far. And, to a great extent, Ingram's run-blocking grade keeps his overall grade higher than his performance appears to warrant. Ineptitude as a pass blocker is much easier to see than ineptitude as a run blocker.

@@richspector4461 That makes sense. I think that's part of the problem of just looking at numbers. They even out to make them look average, but they are actually really bad at one or the other. Bradbury can't be getting pushed into the QB...

Ed Ingram has a 25.3 pass blocking grade this season.

@@kevinathans4191 Their OL ranks 3rd in run blocking grade and middle of the pack in pass protection. They're also basing it off last year where they ranked 3rd in pass blocking grade.

one guy got a sack/qb hit for being the closest when Purdy fumbled the ball. two sacks/qb hits came when Purdy dove behind the line of scrimmage and gave himself up instead of throwing the ball away (two more free sacks/qb hits). Two were after 3 seconds had passed which (as they explained, but i guess the average fan doesn't know) is on the QB. And the last one was when they blitzed more than the OL could block which is also on the QB to get rid of the ball (this is even understood in high school football). Mason also did amazing on film in pass protection picking up blitzes.
