Looking at the fly traps I was thinking what if you make a flytrap (or other carnivorous plants) terrarium 🤔

All my hardscape orders got canceled. So i guess i just have to do with your scapes as my fish-dose 😅 Also would love to have vallisneria at the back flowing out. That would look awesome!

MD: A thought on your water change solution, why not add a carbon filter beneath the sink that filters out the chlorine in the tap water? This could save a lot of aggravation for you. This is common in the saltwater hobby, although those filters are much more expensive as they are 3 stage rather than just 2 stage (Salt: Mechanical Filter, Carbon Filter, RO Filter ($$ part)... vs ... Freshwater: Mechanical Filter, Carbon Filter). With a bit of DIY know how, you could make this yourself for about £15.

1. I had the same bucket situation until I use the hose. You could add a shut off valve for the tap hose, it saves me having to run to the tap when the tank is full :) 2. I love angelfish and keeping more than 8 in a tank keeps the aggression to minimum, more chances of coupling and soo adorable when they follow you anytime you come closer. I got them cheaper when they are young and smaller, I think they are hardier when they are in a pack. Just enjoy watching them get bigger and fatter happy fishes. Downside is more fish more tank maintenance (I don’t see it as a downside tho). 3. Take care and stay healthy md :)

Awesome as usual, looking good. Just setting up my first fish room /studio now.have about 20 tanks, just need to finish building and setting up. Now to get them all scaped...that will take a long time, can only afford to buy a few supplies at a time. ( hardscape stuff) Am looking forward to spring here in MinneSNOWta (USA ) to look into natural materials.

A classic MD layered tank. I thought the first stone you used, the largest one,was pretty special. Gets lost in the wall, could have saved that big one out for some other set up some day. Nice example of detail additions. Very much looking forward to jungle and to angelfish. Do you know what type of angelfish?

Have you ever thought about switching your scapes up..? Most them is just a slope towards the back and then filled with different materials mostly stone or a giant giant piece of wood. Dont get get me wrong they do look good but it seems tedious to do it the same way everytime.

I like it. That rock you added in front was in inspired idea. Any look of a “wall” just disappeared. I think the whole “big stuff in the back, small stuff in the front” rule needs to be broken more often.

You get quite a large diatom/string algae boom with millennium stone from my experience with it, nothing some nerites won't clear of course! tanks looking good mate, looking forward to the planting video.

Hey, I’m very inspired and a huge fan of your work! I’m trying to replicate something like this or even your Asian tank setup. However, I plan to keep German blue rams, but I was wondering, do these rock raise PH or GH? I almost bough seiryu stone at my local shop until I googled it and saw that it does raise it. What would you recommend for larger stones in my scape that I can attach plants too(along with the wood) but won’t raise my PH? Everywhere says dragon stone or lava but are those really my best/only option as rocks that do good attaching plants like Anubias, Java, and buce too?

How in the name of the Lord of Aquascape, are you keeping the plants above water alive? The Raibow River and Pancho's tank look just gorgeous. Wish I could do something as natural looking, sadly, every plant I touch, dies.
