Rambalac, whoever you are, I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. The night walk at Shinjuku where you go through narrow shop lots at night really brings me to tears. It is beautiful. I know I can't travel to these places right now but being able to walk with you is such a privilege. Thank you.
Beautiful walk. Picture quality was superb. Cherry blossom trees and all the people made this such a joy to watch. Thanks for sharing with us Ram - great job!
I don’t understand why but these videos always seem to help me with my anxiety and my attacks. It makes me feel like I’m in another part of the world away from everything for a brief moment. It feels great. Thanks a bunch and keep it up the great work!👍
It feels like you're on holiday for an hour. And like on holiday, you relax and your inner child takes over. Like it should every other day, but in modern life that is very difficult.
Wow! Your ideas are simply the best! The best quality, no annoying talking and this view 😍 I really really love your videos, thank you for sharing them.
I may never make it to Japan to see the Sakura. This video is fantastic. I think looking into these blooms can compete with any beauty in the universe.
This video reminds me of the time I was living in Meguro. It will forever be my home even though I moved out of Tokyo now. Thank you so much for making this video and bringing back all my fondest memories. Feeling very nostalgic right now!
it has and still is my biggest dream to someday see the cherry blossoms in Japan myself. Especially at meguro river around this time in the day when all the lanterns are lit. Thank you for this gorgeous video!
I absolutely love your videos, great quality and therefore very immersive. Almost feels like im being there to see these amazing and beautiful trees. Keep up the great work! I also appreciate the information you gave in the description, it helps out a lot.
Rambalac, I went in Japan the last summer. Your videos are fantastic. I Think the best videos from Japan. When I see yours videos I come there right now ! Thank you so much. Ferdinando from Matera (Italy).
I think this your BEST work yet!! I come to look at this video around cherry blossom season every year because I can't come to Japan. Love your channel, Rambalac!!!
This may sound weird but compared to the other videos I watch of ppl walking through city and areas, I really enjoy your pacing. You don't walk like you're in a rush and make sure to pan to give a better scope of the place and I appreciate it, thank you!
Cпасибо за ответ! Скромность украшает человека! Сразу понятно: что снимает человек, которому это нравится, все: и съемка, и природа, и люди!!! Удачи!!!!!!!!!!$
amazing footage. thank you for sharing this! my dream is it to see the megura river and it's sakura trees in real life, through this video i was able to get a closer look! all love
its funny about 2 year's ago! I said he should win a Oscar for cinematography. I have seen other video walks, but nothing can compare to his videos. He's on the top of my list of people i would love to meet.
I have a projection system, and i leave this channel playing 24/7 looks so good!! and when on projection! you can stand there and look at every thing and just take it in,,,,,,,
Japan tourism department has to pay you for what you do man, it shows to the world how beautiful japan is... My friend who visited Japan last month even use your videos as references for places and clothing. Thanks a lot for your video!! That guy at 0:40 was nasty
I don't care about payment, but it would nice if someone informs me about events, get special access or confirm places, like shops, and people I can film without stalker feelings.
hahaha stalker feelings.... I see brother, it's inevitable to feel that way since you film a lot and I think you stand out in the crowd for holding camera that high. Sorry I can't really help with any solution to that brother... I hope it won't stop you to keep making these videos though
Thank you Rambalac. Your videos are very nice and they help me to focus on my studys, when i play then on my background, they help me concentrate. Its because of the streets sounds, the people's voices slowly fading and the laughins etc, anyway, the life's sound itself. You really deserve the world. Once again, thank you. God bless you and your family.
Walking through all that must be like swimming against a strong current. A river of people. I don't know if you like crowds like that but thanks for taking us with you. Smiled at the young woman walking the lines on the street 13:12 and happy child-like faces on the adults.
Your videos have been my only escape during this quarantine, thank you so much for all the work you put into shooting such mesmerizing sceneries, love your work
Really appreciate your videos. I am sure it takes a lot of time to make them and organize them. Thank you for this amazing virtual experience because some people are not financially balanced enough to travel.
"Let a thousand flowers bloom" would be a mistake saying as it refers to China and Chinese history, however to see these beautiful flowers perfectly illuminated while dusk is closing in, welcoming the long awaited spring, for the winter has been so long and cold, there's no better phrase to complete this change of seasons; and to salute warmer and longer days in the city of Tokyo, where attention to detail, sense of beauty and uniqueness is nothing less but pure work of art, it's a pleasant and a very special privilege being able to witness. Thank you.
Wow!! Magical and amazing! Everything looked so gorgeous and breath-taking, except for beginning of video at 0:40 haha! Do they close these streets every weekend for Hanami or every day during cherry blossom blooms? I could imagine the residents around there getting sick of the traffic if it was every day.
Nakameguro....you probably took Toyoko line, which used to extend to Sakuragicho but was put in the trash bin in order to replace with Minato-Mirai line. That was some 20 years ago. I'll be visiting Japan from May 26 to June 2nd. I used to stay at my mother's place in Sakuragicho, but as we've had a nuclear warfare I am no longer staying there. I stay at a business hotel in Aioicho, about several minute walk from JR Sakuragicho Sta. This hotel is the most reasonable in the area, but for 10 nights it is still 5,5000 yen.....As an airline employee I can fly at severe discount (no charge on the company flights), but the cost of accommodations still eats up much of the travel cost. I love flying into Haneda, as it is MUCH closer to Yokohama than Narita, but I usually end up flying on ANA from JFK to NRT as it gets to Japan faster than anyone else. Returning trip is good, as I can fly out from Haneda. I hope it won't be like last July; it was scorching hot aided by humidity......I hate that combo.
Nice footage Rambalac. I went there 2 days ago during the day time and it was crammed, but awesome nonetheless. Are there any other good places to see Sakura along a riverside in Tokyo?
Until I went to Japan, I never realized what it was like to physically feel safe. "Feeling safe" takes on entirely different meaning there. You really FEEL it. No other place I've traveled to offered the same feeling. It isn't just about the people... because I'd feel less safe on peaceful island with no people and predators. It's hard to describe it. Maybe I'm just crazy.
