The building with the yellow shutters on the left, around 4 minutes in, was the home of my 8X Great Grandfather. I was really amazed to see it in person when I was in Quebec City.
We have been living in Quebec City for many years and we really appreciate this beautiful video. The drone views at the end is an aspect of the city we did not know.Your camera work is perfect, not to fast, and turning back to see behind . Merci beaucoup,
I am very happy to hear that you liked the drone shot.!💖😍 I am really fall in love with this city!😍🤩 I miss this city already!💖 Thanks for watching💖 and have a wonderful day!✨😍
Town's architecture is typically french architecture of Brittany, I guess the first settlers were from this region. Old Quebec city is like Saint-Malo in Brittany.
Oh my, what a truly remarkable video, this part of Québec is probably one of my favourite places in the world, especially when Alice is there filming. This video deserves an Oscar. 🏆 🏅
My friends just visited Montreal and Quebec. How jealous I was even though I have visited both cities several times. Thank you for bringing Quebec to me.I enjoyed the music as well catching snippets of Satie and Clare de Lune! Quebec is such a beautiful city and i urge people to visit if they are unable to make the trip to Paris an COVD has prevented the trip. It is not Paris but it is definitely French and you will delight in the architecture and the cuisine and the sound of french being spoken all around you! Just watching your wonderful walking tour Alice should motivate everyone to travel there.
Thank you so much my friend!😉😘 This is my second visit, but I already want to go again.!✨😍 Thank you so much for walking with me again!💖 Have a wonderful weekend!🤗
Thank you for your beautiful videos of QC..we'll be visiting there this fall as part of our Maritime tour. You take so much time to explore the buildings, doors, shutters, peeking into the windows of those lovely shops, even going in a couple! So many videos just have the person scurrying down the street while I want to SEE those doorways, the structures, the environment and settings they're in! Thank you for your unhurried, even serene videos!!
This is one of the most beautiful walks. I absolutely enjoyed the beautiful music being played and sung along the walk. It made it that more beautiful. Gracious!
Oooohhh sweet Lord with your music and your Artistic soul, you almost made my cry. What a beautiful video ...thank you so much !:) lots of smiles from West Poland ;)
Thank you ever so much for doing this video. I have been to this beautiful city many times. In the early 60 s, I toured it the first time. Being a Chinese, I did not get a good reception then. I got a cup of coffee at the Frontenac with a bowl of salt instead of sugar. In a restaurant, I had to wait in the bar for a seat. But as I have just got my drink in my hand, I was told that there was an available seat , yet, I was not allowed to bring my drink along with me. I had to pay for that untouched drink though. It was not a pleasant experience. However, as time went by, the treatment improved a little. I admire your unique silent way of introducing the city, flashing historical facts and locations now and then . You have given me such a comprehensive tour of Quebec City. When music was added, it was quiet relaxing sound. I felt soothing and tranquil through the whole time watching your videos. Excellently done , my admirable RU-vidr ! Congratulations ! 加油!
Thanks for sharing your experience!🙏 If you have a chance in the near future, I hope you will visit again.🤗 You will surely have beautiful and good memories.😍😘 Thank you for your compliments and encouragement, it was an honor to be able to walk together.💖💖
Thank you Alice for another beautiful walking tour of Quebec City. I love the way you quietly walk throught the many streets and interesting shops without rushing. Also, your drone views especially at the end were so beautiful and frankly, I was emotionally moved with the view and the music together. I know that I will be watching this video and your first video on Quebec City again! I also enjoy your videos of walking around Manhattan and other places. Thank you again.
Wow. Such a beautiful city. You captured the city's charm. Amazing quality. Did not feel as if I was watching a walk in a North American city. Really does look as if it is a village in France.❤️❤️
THAT LITTLE LADY AT THE END SINGING AVE MARIA HAS A VERY LOVELY VOICE...I KNOW A GOOD VOICE WHEN I HEAR ONE...I, TOO, HAVE MUSICAL ABILITIES...RANGE/PITCH ARE BOTH THERE...ALL THE BEST TO HER AND TO YOU...BLESSINGS...VANCOUVER, CANADA...;)
I'm seriously thinking about coming here to this place etc it's so beautiful and my wife and I have always wanted to visit Canada and this looks like a good place to start
Can you speak French, while not necessary, it's an asset, if you want to live in Quebec... I myself speak French, but, live in "English Canada" PS, you do have nice eyes.
The piano player started playing at the 24:30 mark making it seem like a scene from a movie where two lovers will finally see each other for the first time in years. 🥰 It was absolutely incredible. Great video!
Oh wow. Chevalier is one of my surnames. I’m from Louisiana and have French Canadian ancestors. So cool to see it on a plaque from 1752. Wonder if it’s my relatives.
You could easily win an award for RU-vid most beautiful videos:) Quebec is wonderful! Thank you for sharing this walk. Visit Vermont/Maine next if you can
Wow thank you so much!😍💖 I am so flattered!😁 I was going to stop by on the way back, but I was so tired that I couldn't go.😥 I definitely plan to visit next time 😉 Have a wonderful weekend and see you next walk!✨🤗😘
Your video was in my recommendations. I clicked right away when I saw you would be walking in Quebec City, a place I've always wanted to visit. Your video was visually stunning, Alice...the drone footage was perfect. This was an absolute pleasure and I subscribed to your channel. Great job!
Wow! This is beautiful! Great job. I am preparing for a visit in a few weeks and this gives great perspective. I would love to know what camera you are using?
Such a beautiful tour of a place I once visited amd seeing this video assures me that I will enjoy my trip again. I can't wait. The music in the background moved me to tears, Claire de Lune and Ave Maria are classic played and known world wide.
This is outstanding. One of my favorite places in the world. You did an excellent job capturing beautiful Old Quebec. Very grateful to see once again through your channel.
Thank you for this video. Beautiful. I was in Québec in 1982 and stayed at Chateau Frontenac. Beautiful city and so clean. It it reminds of Poland where I grew up as a young girl.
Yes.. Quebec is really beautiful and lovely!💖✨If I have a chance, I definitely want to visit Poland.😍😊 Thanks for watching💖 and have a wonderful day!✨😍
You captured the old world charm of Old Quebec City perfectly! Your use of the drone camera adds another level of immersiveness. I'm so glad to see that you have been traveling. Keep up the beautiful works of your wonderland!🥰🤗
Good to see you my sis!!😍😘 I thought of you throughout my trip to Quebec.!🤗 I thought Quebec is definitely a city that you love and that suits you so well. !😉🤩 I am so happy to walk with you in this beautiful city!✨✨💖
⭐ Hello from your french friend. This village is so beautiful! !!!!! it's so beautiful, all these colored houses, these colored roofs, this landscape. I would like to have a good time here to relax with my friends, it is really a dream landscape!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
oh my God Alice this is amazing, your 2nd video trip in Quebec city is very beautiful, very nice Alice, your video is also clear, I like the piano music, a very beautiful busker The voice, fits the mood perfectly, the ending of the video is very very beautiful, amazing, Canada is so beautiful and the city of Quebec is amazing.
I enjoyed this video very much. It brought back so many memories of my two visits to Quebec City. If the pandemic had not upended all our lives I would have been back in the city for a week in October 2019 to see the city and other parts of Quebec in autumn, which was a dream of mine! One thing I noticed in the video...not many people were wearing masks! This was especially noticeable because I live in Melbourne, the world's longest locked-down city and masks are mandatory...which is fine by me! Once again Alice, thanks for the beautiful video and the memories it evoked. Graham W. [Melbourne Australia]
Inside buildings masks are mandatory. While walking outside, if social distancing can be maintained, masks are not necessary. Apart from a few crazies in certain cities and regions of Canada, the mask rules are well-respected.
I am so happy to walk with you in my Wonderland!😍😉 I always wore a mask while filming.!👍😊 I hope you will be able to visit this city again soon!🙏✨ Thanks for watching💖 and have a wonderful day!✨😍
Awwwww....So beautiful and lovely city Quebec..You made wonderful job, show the details and informative video.Congrats.Love it..Greetings.São Paulo.BR.🥰
Good afternoon Alice. We so enjoyed the first part of your Quebec walking tour. The opening drone shots were fantastic. We are looking forward to watching this one later this evening. Thanks again for letting us walk with you! Be blessed.
Ciao Alice! E antichi come piacciono a me! Ciao a presto
This is my first time watching your channel and I enjoyed this Old Quebec City walk. What a peaceful city indeed. We got lucky to get some free classical music from the street. The lady sang one of my favorite, (Ave Maria by Schubert ). I noticed a lot of Asians there, I will do my own research to know about the history. Thanks for video.
))) I knew that Canada has the Province of Quebec and the Quebec City and, of course, the Quebec Nordics hockey team, which in 1995 moved to Denver, where they play under the name Colorado Avalanche, but that this very city is so cute , fabulous and atmospheric I could not even imagine. Quebec City is great. Alice, your videos are extremely professional, stylish and interesting. You are the best ... And yet ... Alice, thank you ... I haven't had such a delicious lunch for a long time, and even with such a wonderful girl. I was very lucky.
This is fascinating, I've never seen Old Quebec City before... so European in the way it looks!! Thanks for the trip Alice... I've added it to my walks playlist!😍
Having watched many European walking videos and following @Urbanist Exploring Cities thru Greece Italy and Ireland. Quebec looks more of European city even compared to Paris. Love the voice of that busker that sang Ave Maria. Loving this feature and I hope to see you get to visit Santorini, Sorrento or Kilkenny someday.🤓💙🎶🍸
Lovely Alice , this was my home back in the 50s when it was still British , so many changes since then . I loved walking around with you , thank you so much for sharing xoxo 😘
Really great video! Just a nice way to spend time in Quebec City; love all the shops; trying to remember being there years ago. Love it. Thank you. (from Sandi)
