When I was returning to Georgia, I left Hampton Roads, Va., where I'm originally from. I took U.S. 58's westbound to Emporia. I took I-95's southbound. I went bypass the city limit of Fayetteville, N.C., but I stopped by the rest area nearby. I stopped by the buffet restaurant in Florence, S.C. I took I-20's eastbound until after I entered Augusta, Ga. I lived in Fayetteville from 1984 to 1990. I've been to Richmond before. There's still construction of the North Carolina version of I-295, but it should be completed before 2030. I-95 is adding lanes in the same state.
