Yes, amazing! BTW, if you look at the results. ONLY 3 cars finished with 100 laps in time (Phil Hill which is shown having the spin finished 2nd). 2 more cars had +1 and +7 laps. ALL OTHER cars had technical or other problems and DID NOT FINISH.

@@olivierriviere7527 I get what you mean. Though as someone who's lived in Hong Kong (but not in Monaco) it looks like Monaco still has a huge amount of flashy wealth; yachts and endless supercars. A flashy place, more of a party destination than cultural place to live. Whereas, Hong Kong has luxery on a much smaller scale compared to the larger size of the city as a whole. Much more historical culture and food to explore, and gritty areas make it feel more down to Earth. Sorry to type out an entire paragraph, I just don't see much of a connection between them! I appreciate your well mannered response.

Same here. I was in Morocco in the mid 60's as a boy up to 1970 and the scenery brings back memories of those days. Of course all of that is long gone now and looks nothing like it did then. You can recognize bits and pieces here and there but it will never have that sense of serenity that you see here.

This is amazing, unbelievable, like I've traveled through time!!! I just saw Bruce Mclaren, Jim Clark, John Surtees in his Lola, Bonnier, Phill Hill, Graham Hill and his BRM...up close, like I'm really there! Something good and beautiful from scary new technology, I just saw every bolt on Dan Gurney's Porsche, Ferrari sharknose in front of me!? I just walked through the pits of Monaco, watched the race up close as a spectator and a passenger in a car filming 1962 f1 cars during training. This is simply a mind blowing thing! Monaco racing in the early 60’s is the best! Small cars of 1.5 liters, beautiful single colors with large black numbers on a white round background. No sponsor names, but a little later the drivers names in black and white. Increasing engine sizes, larger tires, sponsors names and colors, wings and aerodynamics, turbos have made Monaco worthless. Example? 2024’s race (more of a parade).

Racing was definitely more pure back then.

Fantastic. Great video quality. So many differences from how it is today. No sponsorship logos, very little protection for the fans on the side of the course, really high profile bias ply tires... The chicane at the bottom of the hill after the tunnel really isn't much of a chicane at all; they can just thread the needle and drive straight through it!

Well this one should blow up, awesome job with the transfer. Just brought home to me what tiny go-karts the old cars were.
