4K Japan Drive | Kurakake Pass R306 [Mie,Shiga] 

I drove along National Route 306 Kurakake Pass from the Mie Prefecture side.
This is a valuable route connecting Mie and Shiga prefectures.
The road has a history of being closed for long periods of time due to natural disasters,
and it appears that construction work to repair the slopes is still being carried out.
I visited in March, after the winter road closure had been lifted.
