Lmao yes, I didn't know this ride had a drop and the family I was with seemed to be seasoned Disney veterans and they laughed their assess off when my brother freaked out with me before the drop. Loved it!
Yeah all these people had the misfortune of my 8 year old self screaming at the top of their lungs before the drop because at the time ig it was that terrifying-
I remembered one time on that ride when there was a wet drop I would quote from the Emperor’s new groove. “Don’t tell me, we’re about to go over a huge waterfall?” “Yep” “Sharp rocks at the bottom?” “Most likely” “Bring it on.”
Me and my best friend used to do that all time time in her pool and then jump off the diving board. Doing it on this ride would be so much better. Lol 😂
When I go on rafting rides like this I love it so much! The first time I was scared but the second time my family and I got to bond with strangers and their families. We were all so different and yet had so much fun together. My family is white and we sat with a Spanish family and a Black family as well. It was so amazing and such a good experience. It really told me joy can bring even strangers together
@@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa420 what did they do better? I went to every park in Disney and universal but personally Disney has that special feeling that universal doesn’t have. This ride just has the Disney feeling, but I feel like universal doesn’t have that
@@amandajordan71 the popeye ride at universal (which is like kali) doesn’t get you unbelievably soaked every time, plus the theming was better on popeye and it was more thrilling. This ride sucks and that’s why we don’t go on it anymore. Plus at universal, popeye is a walk-on at almost every ride. Also, I don’t get any feeling at Disney world, but I do at universal. It all depends on the person.
That happened to me and my dad at the very end. We'd promised my mom we wouldn't go on any more water rides that day, but our pants were soaked up to the knee, so it was pretty hard to hide the evidence. We were both in hysterics for 10 solid minutes when we got out.
The ride is so fun especially at Disney because everyone is so nice and I love after it drops everyone on the raft is like omg who got the wettest let’s see
Rode this on Saturday for the first time. Had a full raft and holy crap the splash was huge. We all got soaked. the splash bounced off the sides right back into the middle of the raft. Fun ride but way too short.
i loved this ride so much! i have only been on it once so i didn't know there was a drop. it freaked me out so bad that the kid opposite me cried at my screams. It was an amazing thrill though 100/10 would recommend!
grizzly river run is so much better if you ever get the chance id recommend going on it they have a drop the same size drip as kali and than another one even bigger and the water splashes more
By far one of my favorite rides but the last 4 years I’ve gone to the Animal Kingdom the ride was not working or, as in the case of this year, it is down for refurbishment. Very much a bummer.
I am going here for Special Olympics USA National Games in June and one night we're all going to Animal Kingdom! I am hoping to ride this ride with my entire swim team from here in Indiana!
I love watching the videos on this ride but everyone always films it looking toward the water as if your head were on a swivel. I’d like to see it filmed as if you were sitting in it from that point of view. So you can see how rough and fun it is. Oh well.
2:50 My brother: Uh oh! Me: Don’t tell me. We’re about to go over a huge waterfall. My brother: Yup. Me: Raging Rapids at the bottom? My brother: Most likely. Me: Bring it on. 3:08 BOOYAH!!!!
i know its a strange question but if som1 can answer me.... if, unfortunately, the car breaks and you fall into the water, can you get out of the car by yourself to avoid drowning. I know you have a bar that goes down to hold you....but if it's possible to go out even with the bar
Boat can’t flip, the only way you could possibly drown on this coaster is by doing something stupid. Disney don’t want lawsuits, look what it did to the smiler lol
You know what was funny, when I first went on this ride with my family, I said, “You know what would be awesome, if there was a waterfall and we went over it like a water slide.” And just as I say that, I see the waterfall…
I'm one of the phew here that I can say, I got completely wet from that ride... I was where the the Asian couple were on the drop and the boat submerged into the water causing the water to flow in and got completely wet cause of that lol... and that was fun lol
@@jaykay1899 I remember seeing that and to me I thought that was the coolest part of the ride. Disney Imagineers really made it look like you were there.
The Disney imagineers really need to come up with some better water themed rides , because this was a very lack luster of a water adventure ride for the costly admission that they charge for entrance....
With all the chaos and madness happening around the world, don’t let it distract you from the most important thing ever, your eternal destination after your life here on earth. If you were to die today, would you be 100% certain that you’d go to heaven? I can start off right away saying how “good” we live has absolutely nothing to do with our salvation. God is loving and merciful, and he wants all to be saved, but many are self righteous and rely on their own good works to save them. Many say “well I’m a good person so I think I’ll go to heaven.” It just simply doesn’t work like that. Good to who’s standard? Mans? Surely God’s standard is higher, he is fully holy, righteous, and just and no sin can enter heaven, no not even one. But we ALL sin, we all fall short of God’s standard. So with his ultimate knowledge and wisdom, God had a plan from the foundations of the world to save his people because he knew all along that man was going to fall in the garden of Eden due to the deception of the serpent (the devil). Since then, all humanity has been separated from God due to sin. But the good news is that we can still go to Heaven because, Jesus Christ, our Lord and saviour, who always existed (God the Son), left glory to be born of a virgin, lived a sinless perfect life, died for all of our sins, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day for our justification. (1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 KJV, the gospel in which we stand by). He paid the price because we couldn’t pay the price for our sins ourselves. None of us can keep the law, we are all guilty of messing up. When he shed his blood on the cross on Calvary, he was the sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. The victory of sin and death was already accomplished over 2000 years ago, we simply receive this eternal gift of salvation by trusting that Jesus died for ALL of your sins; past, present, and future, that he is the ONLY one that saves you, not yourself in any way. He gets all the glory, your works don’t add anything whatsoever unto your salvation, God says all our righteousness’ are as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6) KJV. But Satan loves to twist and pervert the simple saving gospel of Jesus Christ, so he loves to come up with different false gospels that say, “repent of your sins to be saved”, “live a holy life and pick up your cross daily, those who endure to the end will be saved.” These are tactics the devil uses to condemn people because all this is doing is pointing the finger at yourself and making you “work for it” when none, no not one receive salvation based on how good or bad they live. This also puts fear into people because it makes it seem like we can lose our salvation if we don’t live up to a certain standard which is just ridiculous because A) we are all sinners B) God doesn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of hope and joy knowing we are saved by our belief in Christ alone for the payment of all our sins. It’s all about our faith. Romans 4:5 “But to him that worketh not , but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” KJV. Jesus + nothing = salvation. He did it all. Grace and works don’t mix. You receive the Holy Spirit the moment you put your trust in Jesus alone to save you from hell, that he is the way, the truth, and the life; through his death, burial, and resurrection to redeem us from our sins. Once saved, always saved. Hell is real, just like Heaven, but only those who die in unbelief or have believed in vain (trusted in themselves partially through their good works) will go there. That’s why the devil has you try to work for it because he knows where that’ll take you, down with him. There is a real spiritual battle taking place for souls. Religion is of Satan. All religions preach a works based salvation, some acknowledge his death on the cross (like Catholicism), but they don’t teach that Jesus paid the full price, and that we can’t do anything to receive or maintain it. We are saved unto good works, not by good works. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast.” KJV. Brickopoly Productions u must be born again or else u have no other choice but to spend eternity in hell. God gave us free will, to be saved all u must do is trust that Jesus died for ALL ur sins on the cross, and that he was buried, and rose again for our justification. Salvation is so easy but people have been deceived all throughout the world with works based false gospels
