This is part 2 of this video, a continuation of my last video. Not so much the emphasis on cool scenery in this one, just beating on this Yamaha trying to force it through the snow and sagebrush. Lol I thought that maybe I could get off the road and into the sagebrush and get some traction on the sagebrush and rocks under the snow to get further up the mountain. Wasn't all that effective.. 🤣 I only made it an additional 100 yards or so from the previous video. lol

Would definitely get one of these grizzlies over a newer machine and day unless a new grizzly

They are good machines for sure. Waaaay cheaper than a new one. But I'd trade this on a new Can-am Renegade or Outlander 800/1000 or Polaris Scrambler 850/1000 in a heartbeat. If only Yamaha made a 1000cc machine.

I just traded my 2021 outlander 850 in for a new grizzly xtr back in June and have zero regrets .. if you like high speed and can get up to 75 plus km then def go with can am but if you drive under 75 then the grizzly can’t be beat in my opinion.. I had a 03 grizzly years ago and many diff machines in between but always missed that old grizzly I just had to have another one lol I’m not sure what the weight difference is between the outlander and grizzly but it sure feels substantial .. better power steering ,better engine breaking ,better breaks, better ground clearance, best cvt in the industry 10 year belt warranty. Led head lights, and most important better reliability .. can am was a pain to work on .. grizzly all day long for this cat and it’s plenty fast enough for me .. stay safe out there man and wow what a view

Thing runs smooth. Yamaha seems like a nice machine.

For being almost 20 years old, it still runs pretty good. It's a little under powered, but still fun to ride now and then.

I have an 02 Grizzly 660 that I bought a few years ago but unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to take it out much yet. Mine has 5,100 miles and 787 hours. It’s in somewhat rougher condition with the plastics, some dents and dings and such but still runs and drives pretty well. I paid just under $2K for it which I think was a pretty good deal. I really like these Yamaha’s more than a Polaris. Wouldn’t mind upgrading to a used Grizzly 700 someday for the EFI and power steering though..

Nice video. What`s the vibrating sound when you flooring it? I have the same sound on my 660 and it`s drives me nuts
@AMF96

Could the vibrating sound be from the diff lock being engaged?

time for a snowmobile ! :D
@Zeus33rd

Dude....Not a snowmobile, a Timbersled for the 300. That is on the list for the next 1-2 years. Snowbiking is a bucket list item anyways so, two birds with one stone. :D
@vegasromaniac
@vegasromaniac 4 года назад
@@Zeus33rd that sounds good , a bit pricey , you can get a used snowmobile for 1k easy .. i wonder witch one is better , sled or snowmobile !?
@Zeus33rd
@Zeus33rd 4 года назад
@@vegasromaniac The snowmobile is more practical, no doubt. But I don't really care about practicality to be honest..lol. Not what I'm going for at all..🤣 The snowbike is waaay more fun. That's really all I'm interested in is having fun. 😎

the problem is I've ridden snowmobiles here before, and I would not be able to settle for a cheap used snowmobile. I would be right down at the Polaris dealership in Winnemucca, Nevada, looking at whatever is the most badass one they have, brand new. Lol
@AMF96
@AMF96 Год назад
That’s great performance from an ATV.. doubt you’d find an ATV that would do much if any better.. I think you would need a snowmobile to get much past that point..
