The green one is gorgeous. I'm definitely getting that one for sure. I'm also getting the skeleton one you showed. I know it will get yellow over time, but oh well. I'll just buy extra straps for it so when it does turn yellow, I'll just swap them.
I’m in Canada and they just got a new batch. I was late jumping on this one initially but now, with this new re-stock, I’m in! Just ordered the blue one and it should be on my wrist by the end of the week! Love this one and truly appreciate you sharing your finding.
@@chapioo - It's even nicer "live" than I expected (and that's a good thing of course). I wasn't certain about the comfort of the integrated strap but I was proven wrong; it's real comfortable. The only "negative" (but I knew what I was getting into) is the legibility. It's a very tone-on-tone, stealth-like watch and in low light situations, I often have to press the light button. Thanks for asking! By the way, in the next few weeks, I'll be doing a full review of it on my other channel "Time To Watch" - ru-vid.com/show-UCO0Ym907jFGLJK0a7N4vlJQ - stop by, you may like this watch even more after seeing my review 🙂
@@anaswaheed415 - To me, it still seems "Tone-on-Tone" even if it's in a lighter tone and it may still pose a challenge. If you ever get your hands on the "1A" version, let me know. I'd be curious to know if the legibility is better.
Currently wearing my GA2100-1A 'CasiOak' whilst on holiday . It’s such a great beater watch , not sure I would upgrade to these but I really do like them.
I've 3 gm2100s, the stainless steel, the blue and the green. They're all great although the blue is my favourite. I'd like the black n red too! They look great, really classy, and are super comfortable and well sized.
Moin Niko! I don’t understand why Casio got rid of the day indicator on the mini versions. I have got the white „ladies“ plastic one. And it fits me like a glove. Way better than my bigger version. I checked the official G-Shock online store to buy one of the smaller metal CasiOaks. Just when I wanted to press the buy button I realised the different modules and the empty space where the day indicator used to be. Such a shame! Best regards, Claus
I think the GM2100s uses the same module as the S2100 series. In that case, you could buy one of the GM2100s and swap its dial/bezel/module with the one in the S2100's inner case. I'm not sure if this will work, but it could be worth a go.
I can tell my bro here likes to lift, very nice dude! I just got into Gshocks myself with these, they look so nice, always thought of Gshocks as... meh but GA2200 / GA2100 and these GM2100 got me hooked!
I feel like G-Shock did not do the steel version right. We wanted them to look stainless steel. Brushed stainless steel. The bezel too seems wider than the resin version.
Looking forward to get same two! We have pretty similar taste Nico, also have the pepsi, and want the new Bond Omega :) Keep up with these kind of videos!
New subscriber here😍 I went to DCC to check this model as well, I really love this watch, but unfortunately need to save more to have this. Silver is looking good too.
These look great in design but i bought the red and returned it as it was totally illegible. Even the analogue hands were hard to read offering no real contrast to the dial. Coming from autos and squares i just found it frustrating as it doesn't really have a place in my collection. Squares for beater wear and exercise and autos for everything else. These just sit in the middle.... but if Casio improve the legibility etc i would definitely consider these again. The negative LCD display is awful...
Really elegant the blue one! On local Amazon I find offers for 2AER and 2AJF , but I can't find in description or photos what's the difference between those two, or with the 2A in your video.
@@TheDubaiExpat TY I feel like we are city cousins, both in a desert, except I am in Las Vegas. Love the channel. I think the green is going to be a classic over the others.
Do g schocks come in plastic wrap ? I bought a g schock watch from authorized dealer in store. It never came in a plastic sticker wrap on the screen. It was the g steel model. Also be careful Of people buying g schock Watches and returning it instore with a fake g schock watch. I dont think Retailers would know a fake vs real.
This look like watches that are beautiful to look at but as soon as they are used for their intended purpose they’ll easily get scratched and look naff.
This particular dial design (or complications) is not intuitive at all.. the hand that shows the day of the week isn't instinctive, also, with any accidental click on the 4 buttons changes the default small DIGITAL display, from DATE to something completely random, like some other time zone or stopwatch or something...bad investment. but choice is yours...
I do not think I would ever wear it, I would always pick an automatic watch from my collection, no matter the situation, so I would waste the money if I ever decided to buy a Casio.
