Don’t get comfortable there. Learn as much as you can and as fast as you can then apply for a mainline airline. I enjoyed my 6 months there for the most part then besides the pathetic management, most of the workers are beyond lazy and the pay was pathetic. But then I got into maintenance for a mainline
So nice to see planes back on the move again. I did hear that the cost of travel items are going to go up fast. I heard the cost of luggage is going to go up really soon as more and more people start to travel again. I also read that many airlines are adding new routes. United is adding a new long haul flight from O’hare to Tel Aviv
i guess the prices rising would be inevitable as a lot of travel companies are trying desperately to stay in business.... yeah! the UA flight is a cool route! direct to TLV for ORD is really nice to see.
Hiya Jay! I know it has been a while. But to make a long story short, I've been in the hospital since the first of May and am still flat on my a**. Of course I am no where close to finishing the video, but I wanted to get my comment written. Possibly more to come. I just got my iPad, and it is so much nicer to view videos than on a cell phone. So, what did you do to get all those shots from the tarmac? Do you have an American Airlines blazer and clipboard that allows you there? Anyway, thank-you for sharing. I'm loving it!,
Always wonderful to hear from you(!!) and wishing you best of health. Get well soon. lol. it's actually the pencil behind the ear that really makes me look official :D but yes, the clipboard and ID do complete the look. Been taking a break for a couple months to do some summer activities and such but I hope to be back out there next month (August) to bring the folks some more of the magic of ORD.
a lot of these were from terminal areas with direct access to the ramp since I work at the airport. most of these locations aren't available to the public. Thanks 4 watch!ng
