Fantastic video MJ a great insight into the workings of a virtual pinball machine. I have just moved my cab back into my workshop to try again to rebuild the software using the pinup popper, I have tried several times to get it working with pinup system but it always goes wrong some how. I might just stick with Pinball X front end. Thanks for posting

Thank you Oaksho. I made a video, Terry has an excellent one and Nailbuster has one as well on installing Pinup popper player and front end. Sometimes a different perspective makes the whole difference.

Wow you've done a phenomenal job! I thought I was going to build a virtual cab to go along with my physical machines but This just changed my mind. No way id be able to do all of that! Maybe the backbox and playfield, one physical shooter control, one start and one coin up button. Then two flipper buttons on each side for use if I want a shadow or Johnny Mnemonic emulator, but oh man! You've got me thinking I'm not skilled enough or have the patience. Love your machine though cheers!

Tx Jesse. Now this was not built in a week. Some people I spoke took years to build it. Some other people months. It depends on your level of motivation and your wallet.

Nice job. I think I might build one of these. Back to the Future IS the best movie everywhere. I was lucky enough to get to drive a bttf DeLorean through town a few years back.

@@MajorFrenchy It drives really crappy. Really underpowered. And the time circuit switch is in the way of the shifter. It didn't matter though, it looked awesome in my driveway. My friend across the street knew the guy that built one near Toronto. He got him to bring it to our kids soccer bbq fundraiser and as we were cleaning up he asked if I wanted to take it for a drive. One of the best days of my life.

Hey just a couple suggestions.....your wheel logos should be in the tarc so I think you have to update to the 4k tarc and use the settings as on the vpinball site. The led matrixes and led strips are much cheaper on aliexpress thats where I got mine and they have been working great.

Thx for the tip Mocha man. I might update the wheels at some point. That might bug some people, but not me 😉 A lot of stuff can be ordered from China if you are not in a rush to get it you can save quite a bit. I am just the impatient type.

Amazing project, congrats!!! Could you explain the hydraulics (gas tension lift piston) specifications that have you installed in your cabinet? How many Nm (or Nw) could be the recommended for a 15 kg (about 33 lbs) monitor/TV? Have you got any purchase link? THX!!!

Forget that, sorry! I was watching again this video frame by frame and discovered that it's a 'MoveUp 80N' and strong enought for 17.6 lbs (8 kg) each one and after a quick search in the web I've found this example link: www.amazon.es/Mprofi-MoveUp-neum%C3%A1tico-Amortiguador-gabinete/dp/B01F7S09T6 Regards!

Another great video!! Question. In terms of power supplies for the 24v, 12v, and 5v needs (Contactors, Shaker, LEDs), do you prefer an ATX PS, split up with an ATX Breakout board, or just use dedicated power supplies? I'm going to be using your Quatro Board.

I personally like to use dedicated power supplies. I have 2 5v, 2 12v 1 24v and 1 40v.

Do you have a video and or instructions on how you mounted your playfield? How is the back attached and to what is it attached?

No I don't. Each cabinet and monitor are unique in terms of measurements. Mine I have grooved channels on the inside of the cabinet to make the monitor fit and I sits on the groove so it can't fall.

Agreed Best movie, pity we do not see the other side where the "BTTF Theme would read High to Low to match that side Great Job, but when is the ETA on Complete & No More LoL (never he say's) I use Zero Delay Encoder's even works with FX if used with X360ce Now lets talk about that 3/4 Gal Pipe (ugly) you could go to the gardening section - hose and fittings at the Hardware Store and replace with heavy duty black plastic = couple of $$$

No I did not. It's simply a 10" monitor mounted on the top and it connects via a hdmi to my video card.

clap clap clap.. well done! How you finding the active feedback speakers. Been Wondering alot about this and wondering if this replace some of the devices that you have in the machine ? to some of the cost? I notice alot of people drop the tv screen back so it sit deeper into the pinball. Any benefit reason for this or this will be more of a cosmetic thing? Thanks for this excellent video and walk through!

I always love your comments Paul, and you always have something positive to say. 1- The monitor of the DMD sometimes is lowered below the Playfield area , this is only when people can not fit the backglass monitor with the DMD monitor. 2- The SSF speakers can be purchased on Ebay. i will have a full video coming up on setting them up etc.....

@@MajorFrenchy Hiya Frenchy yeah that Camera angle on the DMD changes and sometimes it looks like the DMD is mis-aligned and on some of your other video's too, my eyes hurt dude LoL

We do it for our self's and maybe family if there lucky, If one was to sell anything then No rom's or un-licensed software could be on the Machine, to keep it Legal and you out of Jail, People do not understand that unless you do it for free, your not allowed to do it, well your not really allowed to do it for Free either, but if you make no money and only gave away a few then no-one will care

No I don't. And if I would people would not pay what it's worth. I invested over 7k in this one not counting my time. There are commercial fx3 tables and Pinball arcade cabinets out there. Look at Arcooda
