You all don't see the larger picture. Samsung and TSMC will start production of 2 nm chips by 2028 taking GPU's to the next level. Who knows where generative AI will be by then? The Metaverse will be developed into an immersive 3D world by then making gaming far more interactive.

I said this in a previous video where I couldn't get into it on the ps4 and xbox x I made the leap to pc with rtx 4090 32gb ram and an intel i9 running this after all the patches, path tracing all set at overdrive settings I'm playing this at 144fps and I absolutely love this game proper immersed in the story the world and the cyber punk feel of it all.

This looks cool, but the world still feels empty. There is no interaction going on in the city. It just feels like aimless people walking around, doing nothing. The game has it's good side but to me, even after all the patching the core of the game is just not very good. I'm in the minority who didn't really like the main story, as I thought it was okay but nothing particularly interesting. I hope they learned a lot from this and will do better in the future.

Side effects from using a patched over ancient game engine. RED engine should have ended with Witcher 3, unreal engine should have been picked up for such a grand undertaking as Cyberpunk 2077 was. I can understand the dev wanted to fast pace things because of the hype and higher powers not wanting to spend money training (downtime) an entire staff in a new engine.

Pretty accurate. I went from discovering RDR2 to Cyberpunk this year and even though Cyberpunk is enjoyable, you always feel like playing a game... On the other hand, playing RDR2 feels like jumping to another world. Must be pretty depressing for the developers first. Because they are the best to feel this kind of stuff.

@@alexnorth3393 my system is pretty decent 5600X and 6700xt. What I'm talking about is how npc, animals, nature or object interact together. As well as the quests, narrating system or the conversations in general. It feels like a game when RDR2 feels like an experience.

@@KaLeXo27I think it really depends on the mod used and the time of the day. I always hated daytime in cyberpunk because it looks garbage (very plastic and unrealistic). However, using the proper settings (no, it's not just maxing out every setting to ultra or overdrive, some of them make the game look bad even on the best settings) and combining them with graphic mods like the E3 one, you get yourself a pretty damn good looking game, especially on night time. Still, it is true that RDR2 takes the cake but this game can be very immersive at time

In the game I miss the open plinths with bars, restaurants, and other businesses. Places where people are for a reason. In CP, all the buildings have a closed facade. Shame. This would make the world come to life much better.

@@SwurvGG Yea it can be in conflict with some of the things. I played 4k 120 (set to 60, dont need to psuh it since its not online game ) pathtracing and it looks awesome already. Cant wait how it gonna look like after new DLC where RT and general visual fidelity is pushed even more.

@@ares5111 theres supposedly a new optimization technique coming hopefully by phantom liberty. should give a 15% boost i think. i'll be able to play 2 bounce 4 rays on my 4080 🤞🤞
