JYP once said that Mamamoo is like 4 talented solo artists in one group, and these stages definitely reflect that. Just iconic. The song you kept rewinding to during Byul's part is "Before U Go" by TVXQ. I don't think anyone can blame you, lol. With all due respect to the original, Moonbyul's version is just something else. It was even better at their Daegu concert. She literally ripped her tie off in tune to the beat. Can't wait for the maknaes next week! ❤️

Three girls sang Selfish with Byul (Seulgi in original song, Solar in Solar's solo concert, Chaewon (IZ*ONE) on MAMA 2018) but now Byul is confident to sing it herself, even though the key is a bit too high for her it's a huge step and most importantly proof to herself that she is capable of doing it her way~

2 things: 1- your face when Yong ripped her shirt got laughing out for 2 minutes straight and I'm gay. 2- you coming back to that part (you know which one 😏) of Moonbyul's performance represented me so much.

The song she sang after Celine Dion is called ‘Hello’ she wrote it and it’s on their album Blue;S you should react to that album as well. All their albums actually

As far as I understand Byul's speech after Selfish: Hello, I'm Moonbyul from Mamamoo. Like this our solo stages start, mine is very first. It's so hard to go first. Very burdensome. But you guys enjoyed it? (Yes) If you guys like it, I'm fine (with going first). Also I did a jumping appearance for the first time. How was it? (We like it) Honestly I could jump 3 metres high but I was afraid moomoos' hearts would stop. So instead of 3 metres I jumped just a bit. But you want to see it now? (Yes) Okay, next time I'm doing it. I sang Selfish, vocal parts by myself for the first time as well. That's very difficult. You know that Seulgi was featured on this song, her vocals are really high. I can't even go that high. (Aww) Very high, very high. This high Solar-unnie and Cheawon-ie sang with me in the past and I want to thank them for doing that. So next step on my solo stage... I asked you what kind of performance would you like to see? There were a lot of requests but this one was pretty common. (can't understand further >.< but in the end) So shall we start? Let's go!

talk portions SOLAR: im the last up for solo stages.for about an hour..whew it was quite long *laughs* the stages in front were awesome ill do my best to wrap up (the solo stages) fighting! the titanic ost is quite meaningful to me to the point of saying its one of my all time favorite movies. it brings out my inner emotions its that kind of song so i ended up doing it for my solo stage. the 2nd song 'hello' is my 2nd self-written song. The melody & words "hello, again, us" suddenly came to mind & i remember writing it down. Today with the encouragement/cheers of many moomoos & audience i was able to perform a cool song for my individual stage. Thank you for your immense love. Now, there are still stages left. If i were to give a spoiler even though ill be showing you shortly. "A different sound in me, hype/excitement in me, & the desire to try new things" You're not sure what it is right? Alright ill show you now SOLAR talk 2: everyone are you having fun?! enjoying yourself?! excited?! you have a lot of things you're worried & stressed about right? you have a lot on your mind right? today i'd like you all to leave your worries on this stage & go home lightheartedly. in order to do that you need to really enjoy yourself. don't mind the person/people next to you just scream & throw (your worries?) Then ill embrace all your worries/concerns & throw them away. Ill throw them all away in the sky are you ready? BYUL: im the first one opening the solo stages. being the first is hard *laughs* its so hectic. are you all enjoying yourself? if moomoos are enjoying themselves its all good! When i first entered on the lift how was it? Actually i could've jumped like 3 meters but i was afraid moomoos hearts would skip a beat so i only jumped a little. You all want to try it too right? next time if you get a chance just pay $5 & give it a try once *laughs* next i sang selfish. it was hard doing it by myself. Originally seulgi helped with the featuring. I didn't know the vocal was so high. [i think she meant it was in a higher key/range] vocals that are so high i think ill have to challenge it later. dont think i can do it often. its so high. i want to thank the vocals seulgi, solar, & chaewon. Now, i thought about it a lot. What kind of stage would you all want to see? I heard there's a stage moomoos wanted to see. I heard there was even a poll. There was a poll last time so i thought what if i did this stage in front of many moomoos. Shall we start?

This might sound weird but I like how you talk to moomoos in the beginning. like you are truly one of us!

i can't wait for Wheesa's solo stages, you should watch the ones that MINTBOX uploaded bc they have subtitles (It's super important, especially for hwasa's)

YESSSSS MMM MONDAY I LOVE MONDAY NOW!! react to idol radio from last week. they went crazy there. Also i can give you a whole list of thinks i would like you to react to:P

mamamoo loves showing so many sides to themselves in these solo stages, their talents seem endless. and solar especially tends to throw people for a loop, since even after we've seen her do it, people tend to not consider her doing either the sultry performances or something as powerful as her "fire" cover here. she's so good at doing the slower paced and just plain fun stages that that seems to be all expected of her... then she reminds us that yes, she can indeed do everything, and do it well in the hong kong concert, she wound up singing a chinese song along with the fans instead of "hello", which many there said was amazingly touching. and i believe it was one of the seoul concerts (these fancams are from the seoul ones) where she used two supreme guns instead of just one, was having way, way too much fun flying around the stage. she also wound up ripping some of her extensions out while ripping her shirt off during one performance. didn't realize until later and then with byul... seulgi was actually at the concert and saw byul sing all of "selfish" live. and...what do you call it when a group's rapper spends more than half of her solo stage singing? so glad she's so comfortable with her voice and capabilities now.... (some of these fancams are spliced together from multiple days, which is why the angles change). also, byul is extremely proud of many aspects of korean tradition but at the same time, breaks tradition by wearing the male hanbok because that's more comfortable for her (plus, she doesn't believe in gender roles) others have mentioned which songs in their lineups were their solo songs, but nobody seems to have mentioned that while solar's "hello" doesn't have an official mv, it's got an unofficially official one on her yt channel, the partner pole dance is set to "hello" and fits it so well ...unrelated, but even months after these came out that blue-haired backup dancer still steals my attention every time she shows up in all these stages

what i love about their solo stages is that its just so them! solar going from looking like a disney princess to sexy personified to her fun loving hype self & byul killing it in that suit going from a cute hamster to those dangerous body rolls ugh also loved that she wore a male hanbok she just looks so good. it amazes me how she manages to look both pretty & handsome at the same time

Your reaction was priceless. Loved it. A big YES to Mamamoo Mondays! You should check out other F/W Moonbyul fancams from their Taipei concert and their Daegu concert. MOVE, the Moonbyul fancam master, has the Daegu performance on her channel and let me tell you, Moonbyul brought it on a whole different level. Just watch. Ripping the tie off, hip thrusts, body rolls, she went off. Seeing it first hand, it was HOT AF!!! Mamamoo live in concert is one of the best things I've ever experienced. Their S/S concert was over 3 hours and I was blown away, until the F/W concert came along at a whopping 4 1/2 hours. They put their all into everything they do and it shows in their performances. (FYI, they're having a concert in Japan 03/08/20 Osaka / 03/15/20 Tokyo Lol).

Love that Solar did “my heart will go on” I love that song so I hold people that want to sing it at a high standard. I knew that with her vocals and alent, Solar would kill it and she did. It’s even more impressive since she does not really know English as well as some others do. I can always count on Solar to kill a high note and she did. She also did Whitney and killed that in another video. Then there is her performance of Speechless form KCon LA. I definitely won’t mind Solar ripping her shirt off at the end of Fire like male idols.. -cough- Wonho -cough- (love that bunny ;) ) I love Solar; she said in an interview once that male artist rip their shirts during performances, so she wanted to do it thinking “why can’t female idols do it”. There is also a performance of selfish that is Moonbyul and Solar... along with Solar and Moonbyul doing a little thing of “trouble maker” and “my eye’s candy” or whatever it is called, though I have only found 2 videos for each... 🥵🔥 There is a music video for Solar’s “spit it out” solo. 💯

Fun fact, the costume byul was wearing is a male's hanbok. she wanted to break gender norms. Solar's ripping the shirt was because she saw all the guys do it, yet people aren't as accepting if a girl would do it-- so she did it. Wheesa's stages also defied gender norms; all in all, all four girls are great and want to break various gender norms/stereotypes/"standards/views" of society that quite honestly shouldn't be there. At the Taiwan concert and I believe one of the Korea concerts, Byul's headband fell off and she had fans tie it back up :P
