The land it occupies was back before the Civil War part of two States inside "AMERICA", THE COUNTRY. They were Virginia State, and Maryland State. The "Act of 1871" took those parts and created the District of Columbia, a City State Country. One of only 3 in the WORLD! And now for the facts that can be looked up on line. You do know that the UNITED STATES is not a country? It is a Foreign corporation. A place where JUSTICE, has been REPLACED by there corporation's JUST-US SYSTEM.
