I needed just over 3, make sure engine reaches operating temperature, which opens the thermostat and will take in much more coolant. Radiator should be full and overflow tank should be at the full mark, which is about halfway up the reservoir. If you're not completely filling it using a tall funnel like i did in the video, you will trap air.
