Take a lap with me around the 5.3 mile lap at the Aztec Spring Classic GP CORCS Race from March 24th, 2024.
Filmed with an Insta360 OneX2. I run two cameras during CORCS to switch mid race so I have footage of all two hours!

In case you're curious about the cameras: I run the GoPro on my helmet and the Insta360 on my chest. At the start of the race, I turn on my GoPro. When I come in for fuel at 1 hour, I turn on my Insta. That way I have footage for the whole race without taking time to switch batteries. My GoPro died literally half way through the next lap after the fuel stop so then I have footage for the rest of the race from the Insta. That's why you can see the GoPro on my helmet as well!

I agree ! It does look fun, a ex coworker of mine does this type a racing he almost got me talked into trying in a year or so ! Great ride love the different camera angles thank you

They did a great job with it! It was tough and pretty choppy to be expected but it was a good course for sure.

Nice work! Track was definitely more choppy than my race. Me hanging out with Daddy DeeO at the 0:13 mark. 🙂

Unfortunately had to give up racing years ago. The parts of Aztec still looks somewhat the same. Used to be North and South track then it was changed to just one. But Byron and gang still run it or?

Yessir Byron is the track owner and Mark Bickford helps out there as well. North and South track is long gone, but I remember those days in my youth!
