M&P’s without back straps will definitely fit small frame hands. That’s how I keep mine so anyone in the household is comfortable with either and I suck it up and adapt. The fact that the FPC and MP9 2.0 have the same grip makes it nice to transition back and forth.

What's even better is my M&P40c 2.0. Yes, it's a 40, but with a barrel swap it's 357sig also, same mags. With the 9mm conversion barrel from KKM and a 9mm magazine, it's just fine as a 9 too. Not to even mention the Apex trigger.

Absolutely love your enthusiasm for handguns, bro. Obviously most of us own things that pack much larger punches but statistically, if you’re going to have to defend your life or your loved ones, it’ll be with a pistol. Practical advice on your videos & your emphasis on handgun reliably, consistency, and the importance of practice is greatly appreciated & respected.

I love your channel. What I love about it most is that it is literally a gun channel and nothing more. Some of the other gun channels are good but it such a turn off once they start talking politics and bashing one side over the other. You don't do that and from what I have seen so far you haven't inserted your political biases in your content. You just stick to the guns at hand and what they are about. So thank you for making your channel friendly to people who are not into politics and that are tired of seeing it in gun channels.

I bought mine as my first firearm. I do want to get the CGW omega trigger and spring kit though. The trigger is very gritty and the break isn't precise.
@TheOfficialCaseMade
@TheOfficialCaseMade 2 месяца назад
@@himbe23the CGW trigger return spring will 100% make an Omega trigger break even more vague and mushy (and honestly too light for a carry/defense pistol) I recommend doing the CGW hammer spring, plunger spring, firing pin retaining pin, and leaving the OEM trigger spring in. It also helps maintain a more positive reset. The P-07 has a decent trigger as far as the Omega goes, but I ended up selling my Omega P-01 because I hated that mushy, vague Omega trigger. As much as I love CZ, their double action pistols leave a lot to be desired as far as consistency and smoothness. I've felt an SP-01 with a perfectly smooth, probably 8 pound DA pull with no stacking or grit, and P-07s that would max out a 9 pound gauge and stack like Jenga. That said, my buddy has a CZ-82 with LOTS of mileage, and man that thing is as smooth as a buttered frog's ass. I know everyone loves to double the cost of their gun with a CGW pro kit, but I think the best thing you can do for a CZ is to just shoot the hell out of it and it will smooth out nicely.

Glock 19 gen 3 is my absolute favorite pistol. An honorable mention for this list in my opinion would be the Taurus G series of pistols (G2/G3). I have a G2C as my everyday carry, it has a lower rail that can mount a light, laser or a combination light and laser, it uses the same magazines as its predecessor so you can get a 15+1 capacity very easily, and unlike other Taurus products, it boasts outstanding reliability. I’ve got over 1000 rounds through mine and I’ve had maybe 2 malfunctions in that time, and I think those were due to cheap ammo. My .22 Glock has a higher failure rate than my Taurus. The only con I can think of with my Taurus is that if I want to mount an optic, I would need to take it to a gunsmith to have the slide cut for a mounting plate, that being said, the stock sights are easily upgraded so I can swap them out to something better if I so desire. I paid $200 for my Taurus, and it’s pretty hard to beat that price point for a do it all gun.

Your last statement about having only one gun led me to sell off three pistols and one rifle, bank most of the money and put me with a new S&W Equalizer. I’ve had lots of guns but over the years found I really didn’t love any of them. Including my G19. But one gun I had brought me back to Smith and that’s because when I had I had a love affair with it. My S&W Model 915. Bought it at a show for $200 as it was old inventory and I literally grew old with that gun had it almost 20 years. Sold it and start my path to collecting. Two weeks after I sold it I wanted it back. Dealer I sold it to said it was already gone. God I missed that Gun!! 6 months ago I started a quest to find my new S&W personal favorite. I’d had shields and shield EZ’s but none felt right and I shot them mediocre. Then, I got the Equalizer. Fk the name, who cares. What a fantastic gun for an older guy like me. Love everything about it and first time at the range it was like I went back in time 20 years!! I am a Navy Vet and was a FMF Corpsman with the Marines and my Father was a Cop. I learned to shoot very young and continued thru my Naval Career. My 915 and this Equalizer are the best shooting guns I have ever personally shot. The worst was my Issue Baretta M9. Ugh that thing was terrible. Well thanks for all you do, looking forward to more content. MT(Sub)

CZ P07 in .40 (gen 2) and Springfield Armory XDM Elite 3.8 9mm are my primary edc guns. I rotate a few others in from time to time but 90% of the time I'm carrying one of those two. Having a compact platform that takes larger model mags is nice. I always have a flat base for carry and an extended mag as a backup.

I went through a process of EDC pistols because at the time I started, ranges weren't doing a lot of renting guns. In short, I still have all but one of my series of attempts at finding a suitable carry piece. Since the first pistol of my collection was a P10F, it made sense to try a P10S as a carry gun. One problem is that the -S grip is too short for me to effect quick magazine changes, so I tried a P10C. Like a lot of new shooters, I was reluctant to carry "hot," so I learned more and got to the P07, which of course uses the same magazines as the P10F and P10C (the -S ones are too short, of course). I have a Shield 9 (prior generation to Shield Plus), and had an M&P M2.0, and while I recognize that neither is a current product (both were bought in fall of 2020), I found the triggers on both to be "crunchy" compared to my CZ pistols. There's a P365XL in the safe, too. I want to like it better than I do, because it's a marvelous gun, but it's just too darned narrow for my hands. Ultimately, if I had to pick a "do it all pistol" out of my safe, it would be the P07, for the reasons you stated with the P10C but adding that I like the DA/SA trigger system a little better.

@@NoWr2Run MY 2 CENTS...These are all reliable and well made pistols, albeit, accurate too, but my 2 cents why it doesn't necessarily make it "A DO IT ALL..." The issue here is the "DO IT ALL" tag. Having the capability to "do it all" doesn't mean one has got it all figured out, esp. if one's ONLY doing it ---IN a GUN RANGE. But to get to the point... 5) WALTHER PDP COMPACT-- 4" barrel. BUT the Walther short trigger reset makes for a VERY sensitive striker fired trigger (good for experienced hands), no external safety. The PDP is also well-known as a HIGH BORE AXIS pistol, despite being front-end heavy. 4) CZ P10C -another striker fired; quick reset trigger. Reviewer is all for accurate, rapid fire stationary shooting in the range. Having high capacity and having a quick reset & taking a bead on an unmoving target doesn't necessarily equate for a "do it all." 3) SIG P365 MACRO --another quick and sensitive reset--since strikers are MOSTLY cheaper than the DA/SA actions--which again, doesn't equate for a "DO IT ALL." And again, always on the range; no real life scenarios. You cannot always be in just one (very controlled, unchanging environment (the range) and broadcast that the gun is a "DO IT ALL." 2) S&W M&P 9 -2.0 3.6" extra cap w/a 22 rd mag. (unlike the shield)--striker fired. Again, hi-cap. Again, in a gun range makes it a "do it all"?Reviewers like this who can shoot accurately, day in and day out (and owning their very own range) seem more capable of making pronouncements which gets a branding of legitimacy, and stamped with a "do it all" brand. A true mark of hubris! 1) GLOCK 19 -- another striker fired, (yawn) but a right choice for #1 as Glock is the original striker fired, well tried and true, endless customization and ALMOST universal acceptance of its mags. And as he said, "give credit where credit is due." Amen.Of course the CZ P-07 can't be # 1 ...it's a DA/SA (not striker) LOL (again, my 2 cents...and I don't shoot as well as he does.)P.S. I expect to be muted and deleted....(and it has been twice) but if it happens here--...it shows through the immaturity of the RU-vidr's outlook in life as well as in his reviews. Gives new meaning to the word "Honest Outlaw." He can dish it but he can't take it.

That’s actually a point that many people forget mentioning. If you shoot a lot you need to clean the hardware more often so there is no easier gun to take apart and clean than a Glock. And no I’m not a Glock Fanboy :) I also own other guns and love em all but the Glock platform is just smashing it. Cheers from Germany :)
