It is clear that the Galaxy S10 and S10 plus are among the very best Android phones currently on the market. That being said there are still a few things that could be improved. Eventually I will have my full review for the S10 plus, but until now here are a few of my thoughts.

This guy must be new to galaxy/android. Never had an issue with overheating or the fingerprint. The notification issue he had, you can change the setting to where you can swipe down from anywhere on the screen to bring it down. The power button being high, never bothered me. And the face unlock works great. I think he made this video for the sake of making a video *click bait*

No the problem I'm experiencing is different from what I was able to show on video. The phone wakes in your pocket and the way you know is it starts to feel warm from the screen being on. I understand what was shown in the video is lift to wake, but I wasn't able to recreate the actual issue for the video as it only happens occasionally

This is an issue for me also. Happens at least once or twice a day a work. I once pulled my phone out of my pocket to find some of my home screen apps and folders deleted, random location reviews on Google maps that consisted of special characters and Emojis and a few messages were sent via Snapchat. It was literally registering my leg moving while I walked as button presses. I also have the settings enabled as to not awake in dark places such as a pocket...

I think the phone turning on out of the pocket is because that's what it's supposed to do. If you pick up your phone when it is on a surface ir turns on, you can turn it off in settings. Also the button is in the perfect position for me as my finger is always on it but I do have big hands. And for true 3d unlock you need the huge notch that the iPhone has, which is not what Samsung would do. One day they will have more under display technology, in the s10 there are already sensors on the left of the camera but they are under the screen.

I haven't had any problems with my S 10+, I got mine when it first came out and even the fingerprint scanner has always worked like a charm.

Have not had an issue with overheating, I have the same case and the standard Samsung wireless fast charging pad. The swiping issue seems to be how you are holding the phone , i swipe down for notifications and am no where near the cameras, I just swipe down from the middle of the screen using either left or right thumb.

I can address 2 things here. 1. You have lift to wake on, so of course when you take it out the screen is on.... 2. You can enable the notification panel to be swiped from any part of the display. I swipe down from the middle and it's there. I am pretty amazed after 60 days you didn't change these 2 simple things... However I had some serious issues with notifications on WhatsApp and FB Messenger. Turns out the adaptive battery, app suspension and "notification silence" settings all cause this. Now they're off, no issues, but slightly worse battery drain.

When you tilt the phone toward your face it will light up. You can turn that off.

I am having some issues with my S10+. It is the factory unlocked 1TB model. I have gone into the settings and removed all accounts and turned off sync. But when I go to the drop down menu from the home screen, the "Sync" icon is on and is the only icon on that screen that will not turn off. What does this mean? How can I fix it? Please help.

My only issue is when I am downloading a 4k video or picture it sometimes freezes in my gallery and have to shut the app entirely most of the time it works but at times I have to restart the phone and deletes the video or pictures I take and sucks not shure why I did clear up my apps in the background kinda helped any advice?

Go to your battery- battery usage- click on any app- click optimize battery usage- go to apps not optimized and and turn it to all at the top left - switch it off for RU-vid and Spotify and other apps you stream or consume content

I have a 2018 Honda CRV and I cannot get my Galaxy S10+ to work in the car. I have tried everything. I have been to Honda at least 12 times and it will not work on the dash. Sadly, I need GPS and I can't hold the phone or use the small screen on the phone to find my way. In FL you will get a ticket for using your phone in the car! Has anybody had this problem? The last update, there is now a notification light around the camera that you can enable using goodlock 2019 and going into the edge lighting settings. Works great, just like a LED blinking light.

I gotta admit about the charging issue and battery life and also a bit on the placement of the power button.. the other things you call "problems" can be fixed in the phone's settings..🤦‍♂️ you do complain about things that can be easily fixed in the settings without a 3rd party app.. and about that 3d facial unlock, dude you have a bloody in display fingerprint scanner why would you need an iris scanner or other shit. Anyone having connection problems? My s10 plus connection keeps dropping. I swapped my sim cards with friends who have no problem with the connection and it dropped anyway I play pubg ping over 200 in the same room same connection friends under 100 I swap sim cards same thing. You can pull down anywhere on the screen to get to your notification panel. No need to pull down from the top. Pull up anywhere to get your App panel. Turn off your pick up to wake for pocket issue and turn on accidental touch setting. If you phone is on the charger all night, no need for a fast charger.

I have a issue. My S10+ (new, as of yesterday) will NOT allow me to SHARE a post or create a POST (longer than 3 or 4 words..and sometimes not that long) to Facebook. (I had similar issues with the Galaxy S6..so I bought this new one in hopes it would not be an issue. I have checked all Settings, uninstalled and reinstalled the app,; powered down and restarted the phone..everything, even called my internet carrier. Is there ANYTHING I can do to fix this awful problem?? I can read and view everything on FB, so the internet or app is most likely not the problem. Thanks!!

I noticed when typing a review on Google maps the cursor keeps going back to the beginning. It only happens on Google maps. Anybody else having that issue? I don't think it's the phone maybe just the app not sure.

The notification Problem can be fixed by quick pulldown gesture..so that's not actually a problem. Fingerprint scanner is faster after the update

I love my s10 plus. I haven't had any issues like you talked about. Maybe I have big hands because I don't have a issue with the power button either I can reach from a normal comfortable position no problem. The phone is awesome no regrets.

AGREE s10 plus has been great. No issues here and no regrets. Got rid of my iPhone x. In regards to the notification panel u can set it up to where u bring it down with one swip from the portion of the screen.

I always say that they need to put like metal divider between the volume button so you can know which ones down and up so when you're not looking at the phone like at night time and when you're sleeping or something and you want to raise the volume down or up I think there should be like a little sliver in between for down an up. Thats my little complaint and this is 20/20 and the phone in the pocket still goes off. So there still hasn't been an update there for that? every time I put in my pocket it changes the track to my music or it goes off or call someone?

1 no issues wireless charging ever on my s10+ 2 there's an option to keep the screen from turning on moving your phone. 3 swipe down from screen fixes swipe down issue. 4 battery life is best by far in any phone I've owned. 5 agree on power button. 6 edge lighting plus helps with the notifications light being gone. 7 why use 3d face unlock when you have the fingerprint scanner?

Im using a third party wireless charger on my s10 plus but i did not experience overheating on my phone even if i leave it charging over night.it just stop charging when battery is already full.maybe your wireless charger is defective or something wrong on your phone that needs to be fix

There must be something wrong with your phone... something like that has never happened to me and I have had the phone since it came out And just look for "Lift to wake" in settings and turn it off Go to display and turn on accidental touch, that might help Only real problem I have is that it missed the edge lighting

I don't know if it's just me, but after 3 weeks with the S10+ and some updates (international unlocked exynos) my fingerprint sensor is really fast. and about the position of the power button, maybe it's my hand that's big but I can reach it very easily. I love my S10+

@@ivonalium If I'm on wifi only all day and like watching youtube and using social media it can give me 8-9 hours of SOT easily. If I mix that with gaming (PUBG and fortnite) then it goes down to 7. With a mixed use of LTE and WiFi (mostly my case) it is averaging 7h 30min. I take my S10+ off the charger at 6:30 am and go to bed at 10:30-11:30 pm with 15-20%. The only time I killed it before going home was because of it was used for 1h of video recording at a music show and it still died at 9pm. Battery life is really good and very consistent. I keep it at QHD+ and no power saving modes

I use a LG branded fast charger with one of those mirco fiber cloth USB-C charging cords and my S10+ doesn't over charge. There's an option to pull down the notification panel with a swipe down in the middle of the screen. There's also an app on the play store called "holey light" that turns the camera into a notification light.

I have huge issue with the screen lighting up when I am taking a call on my S10+. So many times have I muted or hung up a call. Its embarrassing to say the least. I am seriously considering swapping back to the S9

Joey Ortiz why would you reboot? I have iphone. Only it is rebooted during software upgrade. Otherwise reboot indicates internal issues.

It doesnt happen every time but has happened many times. And happened enough to make my whitestone dome screen protector peel up from the excess heat.

@@DroidModderX Really? Wow. I have a fast wireless charger on my desk that I use sometimes, but I don't ever have that problem. Maybe I don't have my phone charging for a long enough period of time to notice.

@@DroidModderX just fyi.... out of the box samsung s10, on fast cable charging 1st time, with the original kit in the box, it stopped charging at 89% and was very hot to the touch. I turned the phone off, let it cool, kept it off and charged again to 100% with no problems. That is disturbing for a brand new s10 - having just upgraded from an s8 I am a bit concerned!

Go to Galaxy Store, get Good Lock and once you download it go the 'Family' at the bottom & then go to Edgelighting+ and eclipse

Why do you have to reach top to bring down notifications? This is not iPhone . U can turn on swipe down to bring notification.

You can pull down notifications by swiping down on any part of the screen you dont have to swipe down from the top

it doesn't work if you are inside an app like Facebook. But from home screen you can easily do that

Yeah for some reason thats not on by default. Has to be enabled in home screen settings. Doesn't address his issue when within app but still helps on home screen

You are not up to date..... With the goodlock app you can add the power button icon to the navigation bar (navStar) if you have issues reaching the power key...... Smh

If the s10+ is the king. S10 5G is?? S10 5g are far more greater than s10+, placement of the power button are reachable, bigger screen and display, bigger battery 4,500 mah, rear focus on front and rear, better design and of course 5g network and many more. But a little bit expensive😅

My biggest problem with mine is the camera fails a lot and it doesnt focus most of the time and I have to close and reopen the camera to get it to focus and lose the moment

Yeah, I used a third party wireless charging that pretty much broke the phone. My biggest problem with the fingerprint scanner, is using any kind of "glass" screen protector causes it not to recognize any fingerprint because the screen protector is too thick. Even to just use the phone, I had to increase the touch sensitivity to max.

4. For me every time I swipe on the cameras the notification panel goes down. 5. I have Exynos version and it was updated ~20 days ago and I'm having ~7.5 hours screen on time 6. I love the placement of the power button, it's a natural position to me (yes, I have pretty big hands) - it's actually first phone I found that has it in comfortable place 8. You can either get small cutout or big notch - I prefer fingerprint scanner and a cutout.

Mine doesn't overheat. The problem I have is when I'm on RU-vid watching videos, it goes out and puts the video at the bottom of the screen. It's very annoying.

Use one hand operation + (in good lock app) and add some gestures to drop down the notification bar. I have swipe down gestures on both sides and I never have to stretch my finger to the top of the screen

Useless video, several of your complaints can be solved easily. Eg: swiping from top to bottom over the camera->there's a setting that allows you to swipe from the top to the bottom even from the middle point of your display so you don't have to go all the way up; power button positioning: some people really loves to hold their phones horizontally and press the power button for a quick shot (gives one the feeling of having an actual camera), many others are irrelevant.

I'm having a problem of putting notification sounds to identify people texting( ie goat scream for my son) and finding out that it keeps reverting back to default settings, when I haven't touched a damn thing!...like a 'ghost in the machine' glitch, or...just fucked up!!
