Excellent Athar! And thank you for the mention of the Sculptor's Funeral Podcast. I recommend your videos to everyone, you are so passionate and sincere when you speak about sculpture. It is inspiring.
Thank you for this video, clear and well presented - I'm just beginning and it's great to already have an idea of the progression arc which lies ahead.
Thanks for the advice, I just ordered most of these books, I have been inspired lately to work on my figurative sculpting as it relates to my craft, jewelry, I am also very curious about what they have to say about relief since I do lots of relief with engraving, I'm sure they will have some new perspectives for me, as well as a more concrete path towards figuring out sculpting in the round.
Hi thank you for posting these videos have subbed and am enjoying them very much. I was wondering is there a resource you would recommend where I can purchase all the features cast from David's head, nose, lips, eye and ear? Or do you sell these casts yourself? Best Darren.
Sorry if I'm seeing a tree and not the forest but would these books be good for learning how to do resin cast figures like anime figurines, and limited edition sculptures often in game collector editons?
Well, these books were mostly written when such new materials were not used yet. So, while they do not explicitly teach how to cast anime figures in resin, they do explain some of the basic and unchanged concepts of mould casting, mainly in plaster.
Hey...thanks a bunch for this information. I would live ti have those books. Did I hear you say they're a available for free online? Please where? I'd however so like to have them in hard copy if they can be easily shipped to Nigeria. Many thanks
