Have to say how impressed I was with how fast the airport arrival process at NAIA terminal 1 was! Wasn’t expecting that, was faster than Switzerland. Well done Philippines, thanks for the tips Jennifer.
100% agree. Have been to Philippines from USA 5 times uop to 2019, only had to show valid passport. I just turned 80 and am not good doing tech stuff of cell phones. .. But I like and hope for 59 day visa free stay with passport...
Make the transportation as safe as possible! Either by taxis or tricycles nation wide. When I arrive in Zamboanga City, I prefer tricycles because they are cheaper, easier to get in and out of, and they'll drop you off directly at the bus depot.
Right on! Finally my suggestion for having one registration for family is coming to light. I used to fly in/out of Clark before the pandemic and they charged me and my wife travel tax on our departure.
Hi jen iv not long arrived back in australia from month stay with my gf who lives in phillippines , the streetfood ,malls to do plenty of shopping PPL OF PHILIPPINES ARE REALLY TOPS I CANT WAIT TO GET BACK.
Ms Terri, your posting is very timely for us, a group of golfers, going to the Philippines for a pleasure trip (golf) next week. We are there to spent money and looking forward to this trip. Your vlogs are succinct, and easy to understand, the e-travel, immigration, etc. Yes, I saw the Panlansang Pinoy vlog and felt sorry for P. Pinoy. I booked my flight with Philippine Airlines, business class, from JFK to MNL and it gave me worries of the kind of experience that I might encounter with Philippine Airlines. My previous experience with PAL was positive when I flew my family business class years back. Unfortunately this time, I already received a notice from PAL, that our departure will be late for 5 hours. Philippines Always Late. I still would like PAL to succeed. Not sure what to expect at the NAIA in Manila.
To be honest, PAL (Plane always late) is the most expensive airline to fly. And they always are changing their schedule at the last minute. I'm flying Korean Air to Philippines in early February. I'm sure my ticket was also cheaper than PAL.
@@laniesider2586 Yup I'm excited to fly Korean air, it will be my first time. And I've heard nothing but great things about them. I usually fly JAL or Delta out of JFK, but their fares were crazy high, and so was PAL. Korean air was much more reasonable!!!!! Cheers 👍🇺🇲
@@bartonpercival3216 you will like it, friendly customer service, great food, snacks, clean bathrooms and if your lay over is in Korea, the airport is super nice and clean.
You're the best Jen. The Philippine government should be paying you for your information. Take that break you deserve it. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs.🤗🤗
Thank u ms jen simula ng nagkaroon ng ristriction about going back to phi, ung vedio mo lng tlga lagi kong pinapanood nakapalking tulong tlga ng mga vids, mo at lging updated sa mga kgya nmng nagta travel pauwi at pabalik sa bansang pinag tatrabahuhan thanks jen
Great update, Thank You. seems more simple now for everyone , about time right Jen. You just take care of yourself also do not gt burned out . Thank You for sharing ,
Hi Jen I did Travel by Air New Guinea A few days ago to manila from Brisbane and Port Moresby. Between Port Moresby and manila they made us fill out all those forms that were supposed to be superseded by the app for terminal one drove me crazy.
Maybe for you, however the Airline was being careful, I bet you at least half the passengers had not filled out either the ETravel or IDeclare customs online forms. They then tie up the whole customs line NAIA, at least the airline covered it. As for you why would it drive you crazy just don't fill out the paper form if you already have your QR form. Its not rocket science.
I don’t think the airlines know, because I was given the form to fill out with Etihad, and when I came through NAIA, no one asked for it, I threw it in the bin
@M J are you kidding China is In and Out in the Philippines no problem as long as under table t by eh have better benefits than Filipino which is BS they can’t stop em or control them you know why China is cartel who being drugs and money for crooks politician so you think they will control them. Your out of you’re mind😂😂😂😂
Yeeeeeeees you nailed it it’s about time to limit this abusive no respect toxic people it’s because of our buway@ corrupt govt officials when it comes to Chong Ching it’s money 💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑😡🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊
Thanks for the update Jennifer, I wonder with the app it will be possible for frequent travellers to set up an account so that only the current trip details need to be entered each time and all the personal info is amendable, but permanently stored.
I wish they can remove some of the check point upon check point they have by the time you reach the plane or waiting area you will be exhausted on check points.
One time on checking upon checking they asked me if I have money left and they asked me if I’m hiding something like jewelry I think people meaning the checkers should be more concern if I have illegal fire arms or drugs
Arrived yesterday to terminal 3 Been waiting 50 minutes to clear passport control at foreign passport control. Unbelievable. A lot of officers seats empty.
Be really nice to just go back to the normal. Valid Passport a few questions on what is your purpose for your visit. I am planning to be there in June. I'll do all the requirements prior to travel. Then I'll return in late January early February and begin my processing to staying there permanently. Plan to marry my girlfriend and file the 13a visa.
That is what I am waiting for before I decide to go home to the Philippines...Just have your Passport, buy your ticket and go,the way it was before Covid...
Hi Jennifer. Thanks for all the information you give out. Today I successfully applied for the online 29-day visa waiver. I received an email with 2 documents attached. One was entitled 'VisaWaiver' and the other 'BICC'. However, neither my Iphone or my Windows computer will open the documents. They do not appear to have a file extension and I'm at a loss as to how to read them. I would be very grateful for any advice. I am also wondering whether I need to show these documents to the BI the next time I go there for a visa extension?
Jennifer that was one thing I would like for you to explain to people traveling there is about the hotels and the addresses that you have to enter on the E travel because that gets a little difficult finally I figured it out thank you
Thanks for your update Jenni, I would comment on indian and Chinese visa free , It's not done in most countries as a lot of tourists from these countries do not leave at the end of their visa. Time will tell.
Great videos thanks for the information. My question is I am coming to Manila this April … do I need to be vaccinated to travel to like Iloilo or sebu? Thanks!
I have a suggestion is to stop any tests to enter the Philippines. My wife a dual citizen and myself are travelling to the Philippines in a couple months; but even one of our major pharmacists have not given an antigen test in over six months and hasn't carried any of the tests in their supply. I'm finding this with other pharmacies as well. Most were under the understanding that tests were not required anymore. On they day we leave for the Philippines could pose an issue to get an antigen test.
Hi ! I think the NEGATIVE TEST RESULT OF RT- PCR AND ANTIGEN TEST IS ONLY REQUIRED FOR UNVACCINATED ENTERING THE PHILS. But if you are already FULLY VACCINATED NO NEED TO GET THE NEGATIVE TEST RESULT TO ENTER THE PHILS. Thnx 👍
yes, especially when you can still get COvid even if vaccinated. it's stupidity to require a test just for the unvaxxed at this point. if its a requirement, don't descriminate.
I think the toll ways need a one card does all set up as its a pain with so many companies all too confusing and hard to work out and get right for tourists and locals imo.
I took my vacation last January 24 , Philippine airline did not send me email regarding e travel. When I got to airport they asked me to fill out the form online. Filling out form online in the airport adds more stress for travelers.
Hello Jennifer.. Thank you for always coming with updated travel information.. You're doing an amazing good job.. I have a question for you though.. I'm coming to the Philippine and my wife Martc 4 and I have heard I need to put the address of an acknowledged hotel in the E-arrival formular.. Is this acknowledged hotel ONLY needed for unvaccinated travelers, or is it for ALL incoming foreingers..? If it's for all, where do I then find this acknowledged hotels..? Thank you so much Jennifer and stay safe and healthy..
Hallo Jennifer, thanks a lot for this and all other very good videos with many informations. I like to see every video of you. I have a question, maybe you can tell me the answer because i think you are a frequent traveller. I want to go to Philippines soon and i am flying from Frankfurt Germany, via Singapore, to Manila. In The eTravel, what i have to write as port of embarkation? Frankfurt where the travel starts or Singapore were i am changing the Plane in Transit Area? Thanks a lot. Helen
Yes, I agree of the prioritization of strict regulations of the corruptions at the Manila airport. So much theft again is happening since the change of government officials. If you want tourists to come to the Philippines, this theft corruption should be prioritized. Nakakahiya!
i always wonder where did panlasang pinoy lost or have his stuff stolen from? i hope it's not from philippine airport ,that would be such a shame if those people still working in the airports,,they need to get fired and be charged for theft. it's an embarrassment to the country. and if it happens to be stolen from the u.s. airport then it should be dealth with ,with the u.s. airlines and that person /persons should be fired and charged with theft... ,its sad that it happens ,because people worked hard for their pasalubong ..and for someone to just steal them its not good for business.
I’m sorry. Just a feedback. When you use the word ‘did’, it is always with the present form of the verb. ‘did lost’ ❌ did lose ✅ It is also wrong to say ‘have his stuff stolen’. This implies that he wanted it stolen or that he planned it.
Hi!jennifer .my question is this.excemption b kmi sa travel tax kung 5 weeks lang kmi dyan sa pinas, khit canadian citizenship nkmi..?thanks and more vlogs to come..
No exit tax should exist for filipinos or foreigners. It's ridiculous. If the Philippines really wanted to encourage tourism, they would start by having ALL BI offices having the same rules. Foreigners are getting tired of being told they have to visit a main BI office to extend for 6 months. Maybe include that in the online extension? For some, they have to take a flight just to do this. Added expense. All SRRV should not have to deposit any money. Their income that they bring in and spend flourishes the Philippines greatly. However, I do believe that instead of the deposits, their should be some kind of mental health examination foreigners need to take. I see too many foreigners with attitudes and disrespecting the filipino culture, which only results in the locals' perception of the good ones to be just like the bad ones. This should bother every expat that does their diligence in abiding by the laws.
Hi Jennifer, I will traveling to Manila & Thailand this last week of February can you please updates me I have 2 Pfizer + 1st booster vaccinations do I need the new booster ? Also can I hand carry 4 pkg of Starbucks coffee beans and how many perfumes I can carry on checkin luggages?
It would take few months to get evisa for Indians it seems to Philippines. Its already February and still no clear answers from Philippines immigration.
Hi is it you mean if I’ll fly with my 3 year old daughter I need to get my self a e travel card and my daughter? So 2 registration ? Thank you for the answer.
Why aps on your cellphone regarding your sensitive information. Besides aps on your cellphone will have access to your internal storage and information, it should be done in arriving airport like any other first world. They got kiosk before the immigration officer. Who's the Aps developer and owner?
