Yes and no. They Veyron came with two keys. The Valet key (a cheaper key destined to Valets, which is basically a Jetta Key) and the actual Owner's key (which is a lot better looking and feels more expensive... likely is more expensive too).

@@guyontheinternet8891 Yeah. my '99 f150 has rubber mats and the vinyl floor, so no carpet to get dirty or threadbare. I turned 16 a few months ago, so its my first car. Didnt really like it at first, but now I think it's awesome. The fuel pump needs to be replaced, cause right now if I'm stopped at a light or something I have to give it boatloads of gas and almost dump the clutch to not stall. I know that's bad for the clutch, but I can't be stalling all the time, cause people think I'm just on my phone or something not paying attention, rather than driving stick.

@@benjammin2020 They only have stickers because they actually used them to reduce weight in motorsports, where a few grams actually matter. Porsche thought itd be cool to have the stickers their racecars have aswell and makes the cars seem more like an actual racecar. Also because they do save quite a lot of money this way.

In fact, making that small number of cars further proves the point Bladed already made. Make less of a certain car that's already probably somewhat cheaper to manufacture, and sell it for more for a bigger profit than make more of the certain car and charge it for less.

I know you get less, but you get a better version of that car. Take a look at the SVJ, you think its cheap and simple making that aero system? Its not, it takes a lot of time and money. Its far more complex than Bladed says.

Transponder keys all the way. Cost quite a bit more than a regular key, quite a bit less than a modern key fob, but is a whole lot better in the long run. Also, let's not forget that Honda Civics and Accords are some of the most stolen cars in America.

Lotus adds the superchargers, Toyota just sells them the engines. Plus, they're engines used in dozens of other cars in their global lineup, whereas an inline six would be a bespoke engine since no other car in said lineup was designed for such engine and would be expensive to retrofit.

In Canada, reverse cameras are mandatory on new cars. Those without cameras have the grandfather clause, but every car made after 2016 now requires a camera.

The Granturismo engine (and the car itself) is pretty reliable, with many cars having well over 100,000 miles on them. The bad rap of Maseratis come from the other 3 models in the lineup.

I play the drums and the badge thing actually applies here too. Drums, like cars, have metal badges on them as well that indicate the make/quality of the drums. For the longest time, high quality drums use nice metal badges that really show the craftsmanship and quality of the drum, just like a porsche badge, but now some big name drum companies are starting to put stickers on their drums instead of badges. It’s just ridiculous that you’re buying the cream of the crop product and you get a sticker instead of the nice thick badges you used to get

T-Tops, Performance Air Intake, Headers, and a Muffler Delete! I’m still kicking myself in the ass for selling it! Tough times are a pain in the ass! Maserati must be having the best percentage of earnings per car out of any brands, they sell their cars often for 100k+ and probably spend just 30-50k on cost per car on average. But people see them in a similar way as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani and other high end italian brands, i guess simply because they are italian, have mostly good designed cars, exotic name, high price.

666 BRLN 999 yeah but the problem is the reliability, people eat that repairs for a lambo or Ferrari. But not from Maserati. That’s why they sell way less cars and now have to rely on sales from an SUV that is an Alfa Romeo with a different logo. I don’t see Maserati being in the car-selling-business for another 20 years with their attitude of thinking they are an exotic but just are not.

Those tail lights would cost millions and months to design with in-house work to get DOT approved. I think that’s why they go with reliable (although cheap-ish) off the shelf bus lights. I’ve actually purchased and currently own the Diablo/F1 tail lights, and for the four came out to be around $500. So not exactly cheap, but not crazy expensive either.
