Dark reader. Probably my favorite extension of all times. Makes webpage look like they have native darkmode and you have many other settings to tweak to your own taste. 10/10 would recommend
Thanks, Scott. Really great extensions. Hope you are safe and doing well. Really do appreciate your videos! They have made my life much easier and productive.
Hi Scott, as you probably already know, you don't need the Tab extension if you're using the Vivaldi browser as it has very good tiling options built right in. It also has built in tab hibernation which works very well. Having said that, in situations where you want or need another way to manage tabs and the resources consumed by having too many open, then another great extension is The Great Suspender. Even though I am currently using Vivaldi I have both OneTab and The Great Suspender installed in all my browsers. And I use SimpleExtManager to manage my installed extensions. Whilst it's not as full featured as Extensity it does work very well and does include grouping capabilities which is very useful if you want to be able to disable/enable several extensions at once.
Video Speed Controller is one that I use a lot. I can speed up videos (and still get good audio) by just pressing the d key as many times as desired. It increases speed in tenths for each press of the d key (normal speed is 1.0, then can increase to 1.1, then 1.2, etc--all the way to 16.0!). To slow down, just press the s key as many times as needed (can slow down all the way to 0.07, which is great for really slo-mo replays!). And don't hold me to the d and the s key being the standard config. I may have set those myself, so don't be surprised if other keys are the standard.
I am really happy I found you...I have been binge watching a lot of videos but I definitely have to agree with some many people below. By far, these extension videos have been such a great educational piece. I really thought so many of them were just down right annoying but there are so many hidden gems. TY.
Love you sir, its only because of your videos I've been better able to sync all apps and organize chrome. Earlier everything would be a mess. Managing Bookmarks has been the best of ur tips. Now I get so much done with Chrome that I have also decided to quit my windows laptop and buy a Chromebook. Thank you sir, please carry on the good work. Hope you soon make a series on google products.
I'll be trying out most of these -- especially OneTab and Extensify. One of my favorite extensions is helpful if you use Trello: List Layouts for Trello. Instead of endless horizontal scrolling to see all of your lists, you can wrap them into rows on your screen. Really helpful to see all or most of your lists at one time.
Thank you for another great video. I watched and liked it as the first thing on the morning of June 4, 2020. This means, your videos are important for me. Thank you for educating me to improve my productivity.
Thanks Scott. I'm going to start using all of these. I have a question... How do I convert a Google doc without downloading it. I think you said something about that once but I forgot the video.
Thank you so much for sharing this video I also use an extention called loom for chrome and it can record videos and you don't need to upgrade for longer videos. you should try out this extention
Boxel Rebound is pretty cool. It's just a little game you can play by clicking it. I had to turn off my VPN extension to play it though, because I had it set to the UK and it's not available there
Thanks for your valuable tips. My question would be, how to enable and disable particular chrome extensions according to which email address I'm using? I have 2 personal emails accounts, then I use gsuite for all of my business accounts (myself, ino@, etc.). Or is this even possible? Example, I use cloud HQ and I'm not signed up/logged in on my personal emails and the pop-ups are annoying. Thanks!
Hey Scott, Can you do a video about Password manager Extention for Chromebook? There is a lot of password manager out there but not all are working properly on Chromebook.Thanks.
Great presentation. Thanks. I use Magical (shortcuts). I am adapting to it by choosing very improbable letter combinations to avoid Magical from turning common letter combinations into expanded abbreviations. If I want li to expand to "life insurance" whenever I type li in the middle of a word I get something like this: lilife insurancekely. Is there a way to "tame" Magical? My previous shortcut maker only expanded abbreviations when I hit the space bar after typing the abbreviation. Why is abbreviation such a log word?
You'll probably won't like my way of working my morning routine: On start of Chrome, I have 18 (to date) tabs that open up. Then I start at the right and go from there. Each one, except for the last 5, are eliminated as I go through them. On another note, I would like to know how you get your mouse to have a colored circle around it - I seem to lose mine a lot and it's distracting.
For “one tab” is this the solution for us to use chrome on our work laptop and when we reach home we use our home laptop to have the same tabs? Or any advice to have both laptops same tabs ?
How do I find the extensions you’re talking about? When I loo up extensions online it warns against downloading bc of trust issue Can you address that?
could u tell why the damn skip ad is showing up on utube videos when i click a video it appears on the lower right hand side.....ive try everything now i did notice that it goes away when im not sign in.............strange right?
I've read that there is a Chrome extension for email that will automatically email small (100 or so) distributions. I can't find it, IS it an urban legend?
Nice Video but i an trying to Quit GOOGLE mostly because of security issues now days. Google is no more reliable. but yes there is No alternative for RU-vid till now so using it by thrash mail id
@@Simpletivity thanks I have installed this app and some others like mailtrack tidybookmarks and wise stamp But still chrome works slow. 16gb ram on my system chrome on SSD
Because they did not give their permission for their info to appear in a video. And because it doesn't matter who's name and email popped up, that's not the info he's sharing. Rather how to use the extension. It's called tact.
