Hi @thinkmedia I have a question for you. In your video before this you said are you an entertainer or person who helps people with their situations I am an entertainer i have upload 8 videos but for my last few videos i have been getting 4 views at max. Why is this?

I am using the Rode VideoMicro for my outdoor shootings and the Boya by M-1 lavalier,. They both provide me with a pretty good audio quality and I have never felt the need to get the Rode Videomic Pro plus or anything else...I would eve be afraid that I might be disappointed if I should spend 200 bucks on these microphones to realize that there actually isn't any noticeable difference from my current set up.... I mean, I am pretty happy with what I have.
I filmed my first video this week with the Rode Wireless Go, and attached the Purple Panda Lav mice to it. It works nicely, as the wireless unit would have caused my shirt to droop where it was clipped.

Absolutely love the hack about having audio from the soundboard, we’re using an iPhone to go live at our church and with your hack I think the sound would be wayyyyy better!
I'm new at this . I got this when I bought my m50 camera . It works great, very crisp and clear while outside next to a camp fire. I have done 6 or 7 you tube videos , some with this mike , thank you for showing me other ways to use it . Voice over will be my next challenge. Thanks again

Now that you have asked, we use Boya lav wifi mic which served its purpose for over six years quite comfortably. But now the sound recording has started to break intermittently in the middle of words and sentences which becomes irretrievable in post. So today we have got Rode Go II as its replacement. Have to say earlier when I used Sony handycam about ten years ago (SR 10E) its came with a fabulous wifi mic which didn't fail even once. We actually forgot about sound issues altogether when we used that camera. Hope Rode Go Ii turns out to be like that. The only problem with that Sony wifi mic was the interface which had no adapter for other cameras. But it was one hell of a complete mic system for run and gun filmmaking.

I use mine as a wireless monitoring from my camera. I have a Canon C200 with 4 audio inputs, to where I connect my microphones. If I plug my headphones directly into the camera, I’m tied to that position. By taking the headphone out, plug it into the Wireless GO microphone, and then plug my headphones into the receiver, I have a super setup. I can even adjust the volume, and there is zero latency. I love it 😀
Based on Think Media recommendations I bought the Boys BY-M1 - I love the sound quality. For $30 it has amazing sound quality and the length of the cable is really useful to get some distance from the camera. However as a solo operator it is hard to move things between shots around while connected via a cable. So I am exploring wireless options.
I have been using 2 but adding a 3rd. I have the Rode Wireless Go, Deity V3 Pro and adding my Rode micro so if something gets compromised on my Go I now have 2 booms to choose from depending where I am standing and filming. Can never have enough redundancy when it comes to making videos.
Have been using the Rode Wireless Go for well over a year now (maybe 2 years?) and LOVE it. Great sound quality and I love the lack of wires. Great video!

would attaching the mic to the boom save all the problems with the audio drops outs if you turn your back to the transmitter (if you have the mic on your clothing). great tips too thanks
I have a rode go, cheap $100 shotgun mic that has done me well but it recently broke so I'm looking to not only upgrade to the pro but also pick up this kit too

My microphones that I use: Røde NTG2 ... not used so much any more ... 2 Røde Wireless Go kit with the dedicated lav mics. I also bought a white lav mic. 1 Røde lav for iPhone XYH-5 Zoom microphone, the one that comes with the Zoom H5 recorder plus the Zoom shotgun mic SGH-6 ... My plan for the future: Sell my Zoom kit and get the Zoom F6 field recorder. Get one or two white Wireless Go kit.

On our camera we are using the rode video micro and for our recording we are using the newer pencil mic. I would like to switch to the rode wireless go II
Movo vxr10 for talking head on boom. £30, with a looooooong cable extension into iPhone X with 3.5mm to lightening adapter but would love a wireless option.
I've been using Tentacle Sync Track Es as well as the Rode Wireless Go II mics along with my Zoom H6 and Tentacle Sync devices in all cameras and my Zoom for post production ease.

Omar, I'm currently using Rode NTG...also have a Dual TRRS Input from Rode...can I use the Rode Wireless Go as a 2nd input and record the same audio to my iPhone 11?
I’ve got a rode wireless go and also have a Boya BYM1 lavalier mic for recording guided meditations and love both for sound quality and ease of use. I got the Boya by-mm1 shotgun for recording yoga videos, but I think the rode wireless go still gives better/ clearer sound than a shotgun for yoga vids. Just need a better way to disguise the mic though, as it’s bulky and obvious when clipped to workout clothes.
I just ordered a rode Video Micro. I will be recording videos with my iphone x and dji osmo action 3. I plan to do interviews and street pranks. I dont want to keep cost down. Should i invest in the rode micro wireless and return the rode video micro??? I mean it cost more but if the mic does it all i want im willing to spend a little more.
to be fair these hacks except for the ones requiring the onboard microphone could be done with any wireless solution to some degree, but with that said i have the second version of these and i just love them....the simplicity is unbeatable, i really wish thay would get off the 2,4 ghz band tho
