There are plenty of companies with skeletons in the closet, but some are much more surprising than others. And only some of those are actually interesting enough for me to talk about. But there are just about enough for me to create this, my longest video ever. So join me as I tell you about five businesses with shockingly evil histories. They might not be the most evil companies in the world (well, one of them is), but all five of these organizations have a chapter in their history that they'd probably rather not talk about. But that's what you have me for.
And for those of you who don't care about spoilers and would prefer to know exactly what those bad backstories are, allow me to share the sins of the five companies with you now. One of them was founded by a Nazi, one of them was invented in Nazi Germany, one of them was founded by a member of a racist eugenicist cult based around a mysterious book, one of them was owned by the New Jersey mob, and one of them funded terrorist groups and directly caused the Guatemalan Civil War.
