@@ryany4n the bezels are very thin, if the hub is tugged then it is basically game over. Happened with my lg monitor and a cheap clamp webcam of mine where the cable was hanging back of my table and when I was adding new speakers to my monitor I tugged on the webcam cable by mistake cracking the ips display
@@oheing3309there are delicate parts there. Circuit board are on the back bottom part in that area, and ribbon cables go around that bottom edge. You don't want any stress on that part.
yeah, this video is kind of the most basic Starbucks MacBook user crap I've ever seen lol. You can just use an Arduino pro micro with a rotary encoder and 3d print a case for it for like $10 cheaper.
I only like the last 2. Simply because the volume knob is pointless as you have buttons to do the same thing, having stuff on too of your monitor looks messy and having USB ports there could be useful for flash drives etc but for mouse and keyboard it would look ugly
the volume controller lets you controll the volume the usb hub adds more usb the shelf lets you shelf stuff the fingerprint scanner scanns your fingerprint the cable organiser lets you organise cables
i have the Orico USB HUB (bought 2, one for my brother because its actually really good) and the cable organizer, but that volume knob is pretty interesting
The volume control knob is an overkill. Just map some global shortcuts, so you don't have to move your hand just to adjust the volume. But definitely useful for sound mixing.
@@HoloScope it might be boring for you, but having a shortcut is more practical. It's very useful when you are doing some typing stuff like coding. I can easily switch songs, change the volume, and play/pause the playback without my hand leaving the keyboard. It makes me stay focused on the work I'm doing. I don't even like reaching my mouse, so when I'm coding I use shortcuts a lot. It just saves a lot more time and effort.
There was nothing good about any of these items.. the USB fingerprint scanner is probably the worst as soon as you remove it your security goes with it! Not to mention that someone could pull the data off that cheap Chinese ewaist.. the hub is boring and will scratch the surface of the back of my monitor the volume nob is useless as you have all the audio controls on any decent keyboard and in the windows taskbar.. the best item was that cheap Chinese plastic monitor tray that's pretty sad ay!!
