GaryVee Thank you for saying what needs to be said and what needs to be heard in a world that can be very confusing. I hope everyone is listening in particular millennials because not everyone wins and they need to be taught while they’re young they got to fight to win.
GaryVee My favorite quote is the eighth place trophy absolutely the truth and we need to stop doing that to kids because it is truly setting them up for failure and to live a life that they’re not even going to be prepared for
I think this is the most refined your message has been to date. You were already in the zone but I think this hit the bullseye. You can just feel the energy from this talk resonate. Don't think you've ever been more on point.
23:24 - "The amount of money you make is wildly correlated to the amount of anxiety and stress you are able to carry!" WOW! Definitely one of the best quotes I've heard in a long time...
The ultimate win is not any micro win. The ultimate win is the opportunity to play! 💯 Just like happiness is never about how much you have (wins). It is about how much you appreciate what you have (the opportunity to play)!
“The cost is zero” Gary thank you for your inspiration, motivation and 100% honesty. You worked your F***ing ass off for 8 and a half years before anyone gave a fuck. That dedication, the long term goals, the self awareness skills you’ve handed out like candy, THAT I can’t thank you enough for. You’ve help me in incredible ways Gary! you’ve helped me understand that this thing called “life” is impossibly rare to have and to truly treasure it!
Who else is extremely grateful that Gary Vaynerchuck continues to provide puzzle pieces to help you complete the puzzle? (With each pieces of puzzles you start to see a clear picture)
This is a game-changer. I did not even realize just HOW entitled I felt when it came to money and business and how this was holding me back until a few months ago and this here, just now, was a DEAD SERIOUS reminder. I literally was talking to my mother yesterday about how starting from nothing probably would have led me to work harder than with the "priviledged" standards I grew up with. We HAVE TO stop lying to ourselves - we are not entitled to anything without the hard work. We are already privileged because we are alive and healthy.. who even was I to think that life was going to be handed to me without having to move my ass. Oh my, this is the time to change.. Thank you so, so much for being a constant reminder of how hard work is going to change the game and lead to feeling gratitude for everything. We only have one life, I don't want to regret being lazy when I look back on it in 50+ years.
I am 67 years old and I have a lot of years of "scared little girl" instead of the woman I have become to overcome. Parents yes and so many negative friends. It's not easy to turn around. The one thing that helps me through the loss of a family member or friend is throwing myself into hard work overtime etc. I have to ask myself why not do the same and be happy. You are helping so many people. Thank you and Thank your Mom!!
I actually love what I do. I have always been obsessed with computers and the internet. Since I was a little kid, maybe 7, I always knew I'd work in the computer and information technology industry. Now I am 37 and "work" 24/7 on my business and I get to help other people grow their businesses. I don't do it for the money, I do it because I truly love what I do. The money is just a byproduct of the level of service I provide.
Part of being happy is being financially secure. Sure you can always minimize your expenses, but if you don't have enough income to handle a personal or family emergency kinda hard to get to the peace of mind that happiness entails.
I was just about to comment i want to go chase what makes me happy but im struggling to find even a shit job right now so i gotta focus on gettin income from something i dont wanna do for myself and my kids/families sake. Not being able to provide totally rips your balls off as a man in society so now i gotta ride a bycicle downtown and beg for a job til someone who sees past my circumstance gives me a chance, than maybe i can go back to chasing the dreams i should've a decade ago lol... This post just hit home i know.i need to hustle and focus i got talnt like a mofo but it means shit without business sense, networking and drive tryst me lol i know... Be so happy i score a job tomorrow!!
Soooo true.. That's why I do my 9-5 job and saving, make an emergency fund, and quit my job when I feel my EF is enough. Now, I'm unemployed for almost 6 months. Do my thing, hustle, and take every opportunity to keep on living. Not the greatest stage of my life ofc, but I enjoy it and feel happy for everything I do rn.
Gary's only getting better. The content feels repetitive at times because that's how important the principles are. For example: I ran my first ad on Linkedin after hearing Gary mention it 10+ times. It took 6 months to register. Its been crucial for my business. Appreciate you, bro!
I like how often he says “for me” when giving his perspective. It’s a great way of giving advice or guidance without being authoritative or “all-knowing” by telling someone that his way is THEE way
Insecurity is the only thing preventing you from being successful. I totally agree. I love Gary and the way he thinks. I came from Poland from a very poor family myself. Few days ago I broke through my insecurities and started my own RU-vid. channel. KAMSquad (Knowledge, Attitude, Motivation) purely for sharing what I've learned with someone out there that may need to hear it. It's in the infancy stage but am certain to build it strong.
Mother Vaynerchuk I love you! This keynote in Chicago I really love it very much! Have been listening it so many times since three months, it talks straight to my heart. Learning so much! Thank you Gary! Thank you Team Gary! You are the greatest!
Hey Gary, I did give a shit about you cursing. Recently, I started building a little piece of software, and when I feel overwhelmed and tired coding, listening to you repeating that success requires patience and effort, keeps me going on on and on. Thanks dude !
Hello Gary! This video popped up in my recommendations list and I had a feeling that I was going to want to watch it. You are truly amazing. I have never been so enlightened in my life like this. You made me open up my mind and view the many things that I never even bothered to really sit and think about deeply. I enjoyed every minute of this Keynote, learned a lot, and I am more motivated to be successfully happy than ever before. Thank you!! 👏🏽💙
I am absorbing your message to me. More content Janel, every where you can. The work is in the content you produce. And then be patient. Good things come to those who wait. It is so hard to be patient. I'm going to close my eyes to the clock. And just keep working. And enjoy the journey, enjoy the game. Thanks a lot.
@GaryVee I just want to tell you that April 26, 2019 in Chicago was the 1st time I heard you speak, first time ever I heard your name!!! Yes, you make ask me if I live under a rock?!!! The answer is no, I don't lol I am a single mom of a toddler, working full time as a Real Estate Broker. Taking the entire day off to be at the United Center, and paying for after hours babysitting was all worth it because I have heard YOU speak and became obsessed with consuming all your content because finally someone was speaking the language I could understand, and relate to. I immigrated here from Poland in the late 80's so long ago but I still find myself believing in old school value of hard work! Your message resonates with me on so many levels! Kindness, empathy, emotional intelligence, hustle, live below your means, do not buy dumb shit !!! and so many more things you say hahah I met you in Person in Chicago, after your keynote on May 2019, we spoke, you asked me to e mail you, I did. Hope one day you will respond Thank you for all that you do and the message you put out! #loveGaryVee
Gary Vee, the interesting part about us Jews from the former Soviet Union is that we prosper, we soar we impact the world we don't focus about all historical injustices against us. Thanks brother for sharing about your family, and keep soaring in all you do in this Jewish new year, shanah tovah!!!!
Freaken solid talk. On fire Gary. This message of being grateful, getting honest and real with yourself and stepping in with both feet and getting dirty till we claim the value happiness we deserve. Hitting out the park at a whole new level.
15:11 is accurate. I have a friend from Saudi Arabia and he schooled me to this years ago. He told me his story about how his father came here and you LITERALLY described what he told me his Dad did.
There’s a huge gap between reality & expectations. I’m a singer & I get “I wish I were that talented”. My response is, it’s not talent... if you want to sing well, you can. Here’s the blueprint of what I did: paid for coaches, sought out the best coaches in the world, work on it hours daily, as much as 8-12 hours a day, perform for audiences that don’t show up, etc. their eyes get big & they change the subject, because they don’t WANT to do the work, they think it will happen magically. Same thing happens when I talk about making content/videos. BUT I keep talking about it because there are some who actually want it, & want to learn how to do it & put in the work!
Unbelievable stuff from Gary. I binge his content. We all start from 0 followers, I am in the process of growing (like many) and get inspired by his words daily
11:20 Is such a big strategy thats what I'm currently doing on youtube and doubled my account size in the past week doing this. Which is why you'r reading this right now. :)
absolutely brilliant. This is the first time i've listened to you and commented but your 100% bang on!. W e need more people like you who know what work is and how hard our parents worked to get where they are just to make it for their families. Bless you.
Hey man thank you soooooo much... I love you man... You just told me Or lets say you made me aware that everything is near you, you just have to get up and start on the journey, do work and work and work and you'll not even know how this much money is coming😄❤much respect 🙏🏻🙏🏻
YES TO ALL of the above ... *sacrificing, eating dirt, not buying bullshit, putting in the work and most importantly of increasing the amount of smiles in life!!!
Doing becuase I am happy. I love the proccess of tryin to create an Entertainment brand, even though I have no clue how to do that. It's just that I love synthesizing ideas into reality (mostly through video) and positioning that to entertain people, and create impact through that. My ambitions are ludicrous but it's really just the proccess that matters.
True that! I totally agree with you on that. Looking past excuses will bring you more positivity. Allowing yourself to stop dwelling on your past actions will allow you to look for more opportunities than ever 😊
Good reminder in this instant gratification world we live in. 3 years of grind and I'm still not growing at the rate I'd hoped to. But can I do more work? Absolutely.
AMAZING VIDEO! THANKYOUUU! You've really inspired me, so so glad I came across your content through video influencers and clearly i've been living under a damn rock, BUT ITS OKAY CAUSE I'M HERE NOW!
the topic you covered in this video is very useful as it contain lots of stuff well talking about considering about best part so it,s 22:45 lets kids loss, and 28:33 intentions matter in business, if I will comment a direct suggestion then try and make some short videos as, like the length of videos about 10 minutes or less, I am asking that as most of the viewers are comfortable with small length videos with large quantity, so please think on it once
The #1 strategy that we (myself included) need to implement on social media is revealed at 27:08, you can watch hundreds of Gary Vee videos or these five seconds for the answer 27:08.
great talk Gary. I really enjoy this one. Specially to ask my self, review and be real about my business plan. If I don't make money with it would I still do it and be happy? that amazing. Thank you
I've noticed recently that even though people may know that money, the car, the house, the clothes whatever it is won't bring happiness. We still go ahead and do those things give us those micro moments of "happiness"
I love you Man! You always talk straight up the truth! i Love drawing and i Just started my RU-vid channel because if i can make money doing what I love to me that's happiness! and i learned that from you!
Oh man, you're great and such an inspiration. Even if the title of the video says 5 core pieces and you only mention 1. I guess all the things that you talk about are those 5 principles all mixed up. Thanks for sharing your self.
@2:59 Mindset for success 1. Lack of entitlement. 2. Nobody owes you shit. 3. If you want to accomplish something you’ve gotta do something about it. Gary Vee
The reason behind your motivation to become successful should be achieve GENUINE happiness in your life, not because you wanted to shove things on people's faces who have wronged you. You want happiness? Start with REAL happiness!
Whenever I hear Gary say something like "You gotta be humble to make 97000 a year" it blows my mind - shit! my Dad earned maybe half of that amount and could still support a family, build a house and we're off fine. So many families have so much less... So if people are actually complaining that they don't make a million yet - How dare you?
It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.” That's life don't just blindly earn money and forgot what it was to live!!
