1) interest rates and buyer demand 2) days on market and things are moving very fast 💨 due to the post pandemic 😷. 3) transformation from the industrial city 🏙️ to the technological and healthcare hub. 4) world class healthcare at a affordable cost 💲 5) increased green spaces 6) new construction 🚧 in times of low inventory 7) overlooked suburbs such as Mount Lebanon and Upper Saint Clair. Bethel Park and Dormont. I’m personally from monroeville. Lived here from October 6, 1983 through June 8, 2000

My family and I are looking to buy a house there next year, hopefully before summer. We will likely get a house that needs some work but it still beats enriching another corporate landlord.

Man, I bought in Q4 2022 and it was a breeze. Not much competition and no seller BS at all. I was even able to get it for a fair bit under list. Sounds like I was fortunate with the timing. Rylee is ace, by the way. Give her a call if you're looking for a realtor in the area.

Is Pittsburgh becoming more diverse, such as Asian and Latino communities?

I was in Pittsburgh a few months ago. The only Latino I saw was my Dominican buddy who actually lives there. As far as the Asian community, I saw many when I was out and about.

I been to Pittsburgh several times, I like the city of Pittsburgh but it’s an odd city at the same time. I don’t recall seeing any Latino communities in the area but to be fair I barely saw any African-Americans while visiting…..Pittsburgh is one of those rare cities in modern society that seems to still be fairly predominantly Caucasian…..

In the downtown area, I've never seen latino communities, however in Coraopolis (which is where I currently reside), there's a HUGE latino community that's only getting bigger. They even have grocery stores and restaurants that have taken over a lot of old buildings on 4th and 5th ave.

@@rwall3450 That’s because Pittsburgh is still very low-key racist, (but one only sees it if one’s paying attention).

@@TLW369 Pittsburgh is a cool city on the surface but I heard there’s a lot of systemic racism towards African-Americans which is why the African-American population is low. It’s been said it’s really not a good city for Black people to move to.
