To make a fool proof gravy: mix even amounts of room temperature butter and flour really well, I use like a tablespoon of each. Then while you have your drippings, or even just stock, heating on the stove top, slowly whisk in the butter/flour mixture in small amounts until you reached your desired consistency. Hope this helps, I love your videos!!
Try mixing the gravy granules with a smaller amount of water first, stir through all the lumps and then add the rest of the water 👀😂 lumps are attracted to me but this helps ALOT
Alllll of these meals looked so good. Fresh, tasty and healthy. Just normal. Love it! Especially just improvising using the leftovers ❤️ Grack keeping it real 👌✌️
hiii, just in case someone hasn’t commented it yet - a friendly tip about the ‘c’ in kecap/kicap manis, it’s pronounced ‘ch’ so you pronounce it keh-ch-ahp/kee-ch-ahp (really similar to ketchup in English tbh haha). it’s Indonesian/Malay and the letter c is always prononounced as ‘ch’ 😉 love your vids Grace! have a great day 💗
Please tell me you’ve tried the TGI jack daniels sauce before?! It’s INCREDIBLE, it’s literally my favourite meal ever 😂 doesn’t taste anything like alcohol x
a big “soupy” food fan here🙋♀️ would be fan to see “eat only soup(soupy) food for a day” to get some inspiration🥰 love you loads and i hope you are doing fantastic x
The key to gravy making from granules is to let the water rest for a couple of mins after its boiled...boiling water makes it clump!! From a fellow gravy obsessed fan!
random italian viewer over here: that "big tube" pasta is actually called paccheri! it's not my favorite type of pasta but it's for sure very nice 👀 you can even stuff that kind of pasta!
In Australia, you can pinch the skin of mangos because they get wrinkles and you can just pull it off the flesh and you're left with fruit around a seed and you eat it like an apple while it drips down your arms.
Yayy i love your 5 days of dinners/ what I eat in a day videos! I was actually just binge watching all your old videos when you posted this (lol) - definitely a sign!
I couldn't relate more when Grace said "I love soup". Me too girl, and I feel like a weirdo! Maybe a good video idea is 7 soups in a week or something like this! From cold soups like gazpacho or zucchini soup (my mum makes the bestttttttt one). Thank you for your wholesome content, brings a break to my intensive days of study :)
i have never been first before!!!!! love you grace and your videos were literally what got be through lockdown and life xx and you always bring a smile to my face
My favourite type of videos!! Also, I’m the same with the gravy so what I do is: pour a little bit of water in first and mix that then when you’ve mixed it well, add either more or all the water and then finish mixing it and then it’s never normally lumpy anymore!
omg Grace we're on the same wavelength! I just uploaded my first a what I eat in a day in ages haha, I love these videos of yours so much really glad you've brought it back ❤❤
You could do a video where you make soup for your 3 different meals of the day? Like a breakfast based soup....dessert soup etc....I think that would be so fun to try to do! 💓
Gravy tip - put a small amount of water in and mix it really fast, like beating an egg. Then when it's a smooth paste put the rest of the water in and stir. I get perfect gravy 9/10 times.
I saw a hack where you cut the mango horizontally so that your knife goes around the pit (like how you would cut an avocado), then you twist the top half off. For the bottom half, I think you can do the same thing as an avocado where you take the pit out with the knife too. Idk if your mangos are soft enough for it though
If you come to the other side of the world (when folks can travel again), we can show you some quality mangoes. Us Aussies have it good in that regard. That mango looked real sad to me, not going to lie
Choc tops are the best. An essential accompaniment when you go to the cinema in Australia 🇦🇺 Back in the day, they used to be hand scooped and dipped by the movie theatre and were bigger than you head 😂🍦👀
