My brother in law is a nurse so I asked him if nurses & doctors ever see or hear ghosts.. he said ALL the time! They normally hear phantom footsteps, but sometimes hear screaming from empty rooms 😱 He said all hospitals are haunted a little (he used to travel to a different hospitals every few months) because so many people die there, but most nurses don't care.. it just seems normal after a while.
Honestly, it's the same with aged care facilities they are all haunted to some degree the one I work at is definitely haunted I don't mind the night shift as I know about the paranormal activity but I was training a new girl and no one had told her about the ghosts in the older part of the facility so one night we were doing paperwork and filing papers and we hear a blood-curdling scream come from one of the empty rooms she immediately goes running to see what it was and i then hear her scream and she comes back into the narse station slams and locks the door and curls up under the desk apparently she saw the old resident of the room poor lafy was as pale as a ghost and i had to spend 3hrs calming her down before she could return to work
@@bluehornet197 Wow, that's ghost sounds scarier than normal! Have you actually seen it too?? I wonder what % have ghosts you can see vs just hear like phantom noises, or just see stuff they move.. either way, it's strange so many professionals are so used to ghosts yet there's still so much scepticism. I'd love to see an approved layer to Google Maps that shows exactly where 'things' are, lol :D
In a hospital you can find some having The best day of there life The worst day of there life The first day of there life And the last day of there life
Man, your voice is so calming and smooth, I instantly start to feel relaxed by listening to it. Please always keep uploading! And, I am indeed sharing your content to my fellow friends as well, people do like your content here in India as well. ;)
I needed this tonight. Feels like my favorite narrators' can't upload fast enough for me lately, I've been so stressed and in desperate need of the relaxing mental getaway these stories provide.😌
My little sister is a nurse and from some of the stories I've heard from her are absolutely crazy. And her favorite place to work is the ER which is crazy central. Thanks for the stories Darkness!
True story: my grandmother had severe Alzheimer and couldn't really speak any more. It was getting to the point that she became unable to eat even porridge on her own. I can't remember the exact reason why she became an emergency in the hospital, but once she was in a hospital bed she suddenly started speaking again. However, we didn't understand a single word of it. Her pronunciation was apparently not the issue, which was equally surprising, but the real kicker was that she was speaking in some Slavic language. My grandfather was able to communicate in Russian to some degree (he was a Wehrmacht soldier, who narrowly escaped the fate of Stalingrad), but he couldn't understand what she was saying. He then asked a Slovenian acquaintance to see if he could make sense of it. He then told us that she repeated only two sentences over and over again: _Oh God, please make it stop. It hurts so much._ She died not long thereafter. PS: I don't know much about her backstory. We don't even know the father of her first son. She self-identified as an Austrian, but one who was born outside the current boarders and was forced during WWII to march the long way to present day Austria. She never spoke any Slavic AFAIK, but it didn't really surprise me that she had learned it one day. What surprised me was that she was suddenly able to talk again and that in a language she probably hadn't used since WWII!
Man, I was released from the hospital yesterday. You cut that one close DP! My horror story is waking up with all these staples in my stomach, but... they're supposed to be there. :P
Misty Webb. Hi Ms. Misty. I just want to say I am glad you are out of The Hospital and also glad that you are still with us and I wish you a speedy recovery and a very happy and safe rest of your life. God Bless.
My aunt was tested in Menlo Park, Ca. for psychic ability in the 1960s and was off the charts. She always claimed to see spirits in hospitals. She believed spirits could attach themselves to people. This was unheard of back in the 1970s when I was growing up. My grandmother and mom were incredibly gifted psychics, and both worked in hospitals, but refused to admit any ghosts lingered in hospitals. I've commented in the past about my own experience in a hospital with a woman sitting on my bed, telling me she knew I could see her. My point is that if you see something, hear something, feel something, do not ignore it. You don't have to react in fear, but believe your senses. Even if you're wrong, it's better to ask what they want, invoke whatever religious prayers you know, and protect yourself. It won't hurt, and it could help the helpless patient in the bed, and you. Hospice nurses know that patients routinely see things and they also experience unusual events. Don't talk yourself out of what you know you're experiencing, just trust yourself.
As always, I love your videos, Darkness Prevails. Your calm, soothing voice is so perfect for reading these stories. So great to listen to at night. Although any time of day is good too. Thank you for doing these videos! 😊
I once saw a little girl in the hospital and I thought she was lost so I spent 10 minutes walking with her to find a nurse, and when we found the nurse I told her a little girl was lost and she looked at me like I was nuts, there was no one with me and it scared the shit out of me
I caught that comment Darkness. It brought back my grandmother's experience with the faceless woman in the ICU the night a car wreck victim died in the room across from her. BRR! I still get the creeps at that.
It's 6 am in a ducking blacked out room. I'm listening to the first story when it ended i got the loudes commercial in my ducking life when I realised that I got scared by loud audio I started laughing so hard my Rome mate (mom xD) walked in to my room and asked a me if I'm ducking crazy. Told her the truth do xD
I still find it quite funny that even though after a few years having a bicycle accident making it into A&E covered in blood the receptionists still recognised me!!!!
I have worked Security in 3 hospitals, and now, as a Correction Officer: I often conduct armed escorts and watch inmates at hospitals. I tend to Believe these creepy tales.
I have no experience working in hospitals or prisons but I do believe these stories not all of them as I know most or at least some are pure fiction but there would have been at least ONE story in all of these uploads from Darkness that would have been true
@@bluehornet197 yeah, some are fiction; but Don't ruin the mood, dude. That's like telling a girl her shirt's stained, while making out with her. Strike 3...
Thanks for the content warning for animal violence... I find it incredibly unsettling and this is the first warning I've come across so I appreciate it.
Ugh. 1 He was sedated, probably intubated, no way he’d be able to speak with the ET tube in place. HAD to be written by a CNA Follow up, the docs would have to intervene in order to release a medically induced coma.
I'm a CNA and u can make out words with a tube in also even if sedated they can still awake from a medically induced coma without them stopping the meds
Hey buddy, just wanted to let you know that I didn't get any notifications for your last 2 vids...( I am subbed and my bell is clicked), I used to get them b4. I really hope you aren't on YT's secret blacklist...have a good one, and thanks for all the hours of listening.
Dont you hate it when you want to be happy and say life cant get worse and you immediately get kicked in balls by reality and you realize that life is a constant up hill struggle to not give up on everything
@@thetock0835 I am from Boone County.. I live in Cincinnati now. I miss Wv so bad sometimes. I will hopefully come back someday. Cincy has its perks but Wv is beautiful year round..
Hey guys, I'm trying to find the narrated story of a British (?) legend of a dog guarding cemetery where a girl, upon hearing its whimper, enter the cemetery only to be followed by two men. The dog then transform, chase the men and save the girl. Do you remember in which eps the story is featured?
My sister worked in the hospital for most of her life. Whenever she encountered a ghost she would just reminded not to come and follow her home. But unfortunately she developed the ability to know when someone was about to die.
Excellent and fascinating stories as always! The stories involving ghosts and demons seem not much different from what was featured on Paranormal 911. Equally disturbing! As for the last story...WTF?? Rest In Peace Max.
Hey Daddy darkness you can call me Doctor Love and I can't wait to put you under my control. 😉 Love the content you put out. I download it and listen to it at work and it really makes my long boring days go by so much faster.
Ok, now I'm curious, who is this Mythology Loves Horror ? Every narrator I listen to has stories by this person, most are just repeats, but I've heard 6 just today. From different people. Two here. Also, Darkness, is definitely the best!
